The World Health Organization (WHO) announced on Monday that the largest and most modern hospital in the Gaza Strip, al-Shifa, is no longer operational as a result of a loss of electricity and water supply. About forty patients have passed away in the last few days, and hundreds more are stuck inside the facility while Israeli troops combat Hamas militants close by.
