Iran War: Trump Says Gulf Leaders Asked Him To Pause Strikes
Donald Trump said the U.S. has postponed a planned military strike on Iran that was reportedly scheduled for Tuesday after requests from Gulf allies including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Trump said “serious negotiations” are underway and indicated diplomacy could still prevent further escalation in the Middle East. However, he also warned that the U.S. military remains prepared for a large-scale assault if talks collapse.
