India Clears $9 Billion Defence Deals

In a strong display of strategic intent and military preparedness, India’s Defence Acquisition Council, chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has approved procurement proposals worth nearly $9 billion. The deals aim to boost India’s self-reliance in defence manufacturing, enhance combat capabilities, and strengthen national security. From advanced weapon systems to indigenous platforms, the move marks a major step in India’s defence modernization drive.
