In the battle for 40 seats in Bihar, the dynamics of caste arithmetic is very different from what it was in 2009 and 2014. This time the major parties like BJP and JD(U) and LJP on the one side RJD, Congress, RLSP, and VIP on the other side have tried to consolidate their votes through alliances.
