Hypersonic missile designed to strike land & maritime targets
The U.S. Navy is flight-testing Castelion’s Blackbeard, an air-launched hypersonic strike missile designed to hit both land and maritime targets. The programme is backed by a recent $200 million Navy contract under the Multi-Mission Affordable Capacity Effector (MACE) programme.
