India is demanding a 'Major Course Correction' in the functioning of the UNSC. India's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj highlighted the inadequacies of the current system. She spoke during a meeting on "Effective Multilateralism through the Defence of the Principles of the UN Charter". Ruchira Kamboj questioned the effectiveness of practising "effective multilateralism".
