Heavy Rain, Dust Storm Lash Delhi-NCR As IMD Issues Yellow Alert
A sudden spell of heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds swept across Delhi-NCR, bringing much-needed relief from the scorching heat but disrupting normal life in several areas. Dark clouds, reduced visibility and gusty winds were reported across Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and nearby regions. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow Alert, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds and moderate rainfall over the next two days. Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious during lightning activity and avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure during severe weather conditions.
