Climate activists from Extinction Rebellion turned the waters of 10 Italian cities green, to protest the lack of a global fossil fuel phase-out. In Venice, Greta Thunberg joined red rebels, an international performance art group, as they paraded in red along the Rialto Bridge. Rivers, canals, and fountains were dyed with environmentally friendly pigment to draw attention to the escalating climate crisis.
