Google has agreed to pay $2.3 million to settle an antitrust case in India over its Android TV platform. The Competition Commission of India (CCI) ruled against Google’s mandatory bundling of apps, marking a significant change in India’s digital policy landscape. Android TV makers in India will no longer be forced to pre-install Google apps, opening up space for fair competition.
