Germany Dax Index outperforms European peers, makes new high despite economic worries

Germany's blue chip index jumped to a new high on Wednesday on expectations that the US Federal Reserve pause its rate highs. Markers in London and Paris have also been buoyant after data showed that US inflation was cooling.
