Security agencies from the Five Eyes alliance — the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, and New Zealand — have issued a stark warning over rapidly advancing artificial intelligence models.
According to the joint advisory, AI systems are evolving so quickly that existing cybersecurity frameworks may become outdated within months, not years. Governments and businesses are being urged to urgently modernize defenses, strengthen access controls, and treat cyber resilience as a leadership priority.
The warning highlights rising geopolitical cyber risks, including attacks linked to ongoing global conflicts and increasing threats to critical infrastructure.
