COVID-19: CDC downplays importance of testing asymptomatic people whereas WHO recommends testing suspects
The federal government released new guidelines saying that asymptomatic people, even those who have been in close contact of an infected person, should not necessarily go for testing. Whereas according to World Health Organisation (WHO), contacts of COVID-19 patients should also be tested regardless of symptoms.
