A military court in Congo has sentenced former President Joseph Kabila to death for treason, conspiracy, and supporting terrorism. The conviction follows months of trial in absentia. Authorities allege Kabila collaborated with Rwanda and the M23 rebel group, which captured major cities in eastern Congo earlier this year. His current whereabouts remain unknown.
