Chinese FM Wang Yi visits Sri Lanka, meets Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa

In a bid to mark the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Sri Lanka, Chinese FM Wang Yi is in Sri Lanka on a two-day visit. The aim of the visit is to promote diplomacy with Sri Lanka. The Chinese FM also met the Sri Lankan PM Mahinda Rajapaksa. The two leaders spoke on a host of issues including tourism, COVID relief and preparedness, investment and the like.
