China's Central Bank, the People's Bank of China, did not purchase any gold in June. This marks the second consecutive month of no gold purchases, ending an 18-month streak that had driven gold prices to record highs. Meanwhile, India's central bank increased its gold reserves by over nine tons, bringing the total to 841 tonnes, the largest monthly increase since July 2022.
