BYD pips Tesla in quarterly sales
The race to ace the the electric market market has heated up. BYD has edged past Tesla in the fourth quarter - but only narrowly. Tesla delivered a recorded number of electric vehicles in the October December quarter. It delivered nearly 495,000 vehicles, but fell short of BYD's total of 526,409 cars. The car sales indicate that buyers are choosing cheaper models amid high interest rates.
