The workers of France's eight major unions have announced a National Day of Strike on January 19, days after the government unveiled its Pension overhaul plan. On Tuesday, French Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne unveiled the plan of raising the retirement age from 62 to 64 by the end of the year 2030.
