After days of violence in Bangladesh over minimum wage for garment factory workers, the Sheikh Hasina govt has raised the minimum wage by 56.25%. But worker unions have rejected this hike, calling for officials to triple the raise. Will the government bow down to the demands, just months away from elections in January?
