While speaking on the newly found COVID-19 variant Omicron, the World Health Organisation (WHO) chief- Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that the lack of sharing of biological samples hindered our collective ability to understand how the virus is evolving. He also raised alarm over vaccine equity during his speech.
