1000 sailors evacuated from US Navy Ship: Sailors rescued after Captain writes letter

Some of the sailors from the USS Theodore Roosevelt will be quarantined in hotel rooms in Guam as the number of coronavirus cases aboard the aircraft carrier approaches 100. This happened after the ship's commanding officer wrote a letter to the top Navy leadership about the need to get sailors off the ship.
