<p>But this year, Eve Jobs, the daughter of the late Apple co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs, added her voice to the chorus of dissent against the new launch of the iPhone 14.</p>

<p>The 24-year-old posted a meme, making fun of the new iPhone 14 by claiming that the company has essentially rehashed older designs with every new generation of iPhones.</p>

<p>The base 128GB edition of the iPhone 14 costs Rs. 79,900 ($1,002) in India. Furthermore, the customers have to pay Rs. 89,900 ($1,127) for the 1Phone 14 plus 128GB model. However, the cost of the iPhone 14 pro in India will be Rs. 1,29,900 ($1,629), while the price of the pro max will be Rs. 1,39,900 ($1,755).</p>

<p>There's nothing better than doing what you love. And it gets even more fun when you get paid for it. Now imagine you're at work doing the thing you love, but you're not actually working. Confused? Here's the answer: a 26-year-old Triparna Chakraborty from Kolkata found her way to her desirable dream job and won a staggering Rs 5 lakh ($6,273) for her exceptional sleeping abilities.</p>

<p>Chakraborty submitted an application for a Wakefit.co internship programme. Wakefit.co is a D2C sleep solution firm.</p>

<p>Triparna, a Howrah resident, won the competition. She slept for nine hours nonstop for 100 straight days, defeating four of her fellow contestants to win the sleep-off. She gave a brief explanation of her pre-sleep routine to her followers, outlining some simple habits they may adopt to get a restful night's sleep.</p>

<p>Triparna said, "You win or lose, but you will definitely learn the importance of quality sleep in these 100 days' process. It will also improve your sleep quality on having learned the right kind of skills to sleep soundly," India Today reported.</p>

<p>Wakefit. co observed the candidates for factors like sleep duration, awake time, light sleep, and deep sleep in order to calculate their score for sleep efficiency. The 100-day campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of getting good sleep.</p>

<p>Applications are now being accepted for Season 3 of Wakefit, where the winner will receive a check for Rs 10 Lakh ($12,547) for sleeping for nine&nbsp;hours straight for 100 nights.</p>

<p>After performing marriage rituals as per Hindu tradition a month ago, Alona Burmaka, a 28-year-old Ukrainian woman, and Sergey Novikov, a 37-year-old man born in Russia registered their marriage in Dharamshala on Monday under the Special Marriage Act of India.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While speaking to the media after their marriage was registered, they urged to end the war.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sergey said, "We come from Israel and Ukraine. We met in Israel and have been living together for six years. About a year ago we came to India and felt that this is a special place (Dharamshala) to get married by the Hindu tradition, and culture. This is not only a message for Russia and Ukraine, but this is also a message for Hindu people."&nbsp;</p>

<p>He added, "Once Russia and Ukraine were one nation, like brothers. We need to make love, not war. Violence is not good, it's not about the people, this is just the governments who are fighting. It needs to stop."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I met Sergey in Israel and we have been together for almost six years and when we came to India, we decided to marry, to connect our souls. We like India and its culture like -- it`s very deep, nice, lovely," said Alona Burmaka, the bride.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A recent study conducted in China, suggests that humble leaders of teacher groups help to increase professionals and engagement among team members.</p>

<p>The study found that teachers in the Chinese equivalent of professional learning communities (PCLs) were willing to share their knowledge and expertise and rate PCL leaders high in humility.</p>

<p>The reason for this was humble leaders made teachers feel more confident and empowered to share their knowledge because they made them feel like they had more control over the situation.</p>

<p>The study found that teachers who gave their TGR leaders high ratings for humility are more likely to report sharing their knowledge and expertise, as they feel more psychologically empowered as a result of the sense of safety.</p>

<p>Goddard said, “This feeling of teachers that they could safely share their knowledge comes from having a leader who has humility - an openness to learning from others, a willingness to revise opinions, and an appreciation for the strengths of others,” ANI reported.</p>

<p>Allen made the picture using an AI named Midjourney. This AI renders images when it is fed with group of words. Obtaining images using this AI is a skillful task as any change in wording, phrasing etc., may change objects, lightings and other things in the resulting imagery.</p>

<p>First place to Allen's work has ruffled many feathers.</p>

<p>"This sucks for the exact same reason we don't let robots participate in the Olympics," one Twitter user wrote.</p>

<p>"This is the literal definition of 'pressed a few buttons to make a digital art piece'," another Tweeted. "AI artwork is the 'banana taped to the wall' of the digital world now."</p>

<p>Allen says it look 80 active hours for him to make the final image and it was a huge task and input of words resulted in 900 images which he had to process, clean, merge and more before he could make the final image that won the prize.</p>

Man wins competition using AI-generated image, ignites debate on art, artists

<p>Because it charged money to a customer for using the toilet facilities. The La Esquina Coffee Shop has gone viral for this wrong reason.</p>

<p>Nelsy Cordova, a customer, got surprised when she received the bill. The bill contained charge for visit to the loo. The charge was levied under the header ‘occupational space’.</p>

<p>What's more, the charge levied was almost equal to that of food.</p>

<p>A luxury Bentley car which was stolen from London was found in Karachi on Saturday (September 3). The car was recovered in a raid by Pakistan's Collectorate of Customs Enforcement (CCE). UK's intelligence agency had tipped of Pakistani authorities about the stolen vehicle. The tip off also said that the stolen vehicle was parked in a house in Karachi's posh Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area, said reports in Pakistani media</p>

<p>"A credible information was received from a national agency of a friendly country that a grey Bentley Mulsanne, V8 Automatic, VIN Number SCBBA63Y7FC001375, Engine Number CKB304693 was stolen from London and their intelligence agency indicated that the said vehicle is supposed to be parked at 15-B, South 10th Street, DHA, Karachi," Federal Board of Revenue`s (FBR) Collectorate of Customs said in a statement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The two accused Jameel Shafi and Naveed Bilwani were taken into custody</p>

<p>"The arrested persons were identified as Jameel Shafi, son of Shafi Ahmed, a resident of 10th South Street, House No 15-B, Phase II Extension, and Naveed Bilwani, son of Rafique, a resident of House No159, Khayaban-e-Roomi, DHA," said an official quoted by ANI.</p>

<p>As per media reports, the accused had failed to deactivate or remove the GPS tracking system in the car.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During the initial investigation, it was revealed that the vehicle was sold to the owner by another person, who took all the responsibilities to clear all required documentation from the concerned authorities.</p>

<p>The CCE said that Sindh Excise and Taxation department illegally registered this stolen vehicle without completing all legal formalities.</p>

<p>"The prime suspect, Naveed, sold the luxury vehicle to Jameel with the facilitation of an official at Sindh Excise Department," a CCE spokesperson said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Officials took the owner of the residence and the individual who sold him the vehicle into custody after the house owner failed to provide adequate documents.</p>

<p>A senior police officer said that the three bought yellow metal idols online and buried them in their agriculture field. He later claimed that they had appeared there on their own.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>As quoted by the news agency, Additional Superintendent of Police Shashi Shekhar Singh said that the villagers were being told by Kumar and his two sons since Tuesday that following a dream they dug up their field to find the deities' idols there and now they want to build a temple there.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Laxman Narasimhan studied mechanical engineering at the University of Pune and then he headed west, picking up the Masters in German and International Studies from The Lauder Institute at The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Reports have mentioned that Narasimhan will join Starbucks in October. Although, he will take the helm in April 2023, after spending a few months learning about the company and its "Reinvention" plan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is learned that the new plans include paying better wages for baristas, improving employee welfare and customer experience and re-imagining stores.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The name is not only apt to form a pun, but rather invites the issuing of insulting and demeaning orders,” the court found.</p>

<p>In a big relief, the court granted Alexa's parents permission to change her name. Local media has not yet revealed what her new name would be.</p>

<p>'Papad' can be made from flour, such as rice, chickpeas, tapioca, and millet. Sometimes potatoes are also used.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Local media reports mentioned that in Alappuzha city, an unpleasant spat broke out, that eventually converted into a fist fight, over not giving 'papad' at the marriage feast to the guests.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Believe it or not, Xu Zhixian, a man from China, is riding from Europe to China on horseback, South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported on Monday (August 29).&nbsp;</p>

<p>It's not a medieval-era story, it's reality. SCMP reported that Xu hails from Heze in Shandong province, eastern China and he started his journey earlier this year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 32-year-old has been documenting his beautiful journey. he posts videos on his social media account for his followers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Xu told Ziniu News, "I told my family I wanted to ride on horseback to China, but they didn’t believe me until I bought a horse and started my journey."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Xu started his journey at Lalin in Spain on February 20. He has already reached the Netherlands, which means he has covered a journey of more than 2,500 kilometres so far.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"When someone asked me why, I said there was no reason. I just do it because I want to," Xu was quoted as saying in the report.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The report mentions that Xu had previously only ridden a horse once. A horse seller taught him how to ride before his journey started.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In around three months, they became "good buddies" and the seller even suggested he must take an eight-year-old purebred Arabian white male horse. Xu named that horse, Huihui.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Xu said, "If I went hiking by myself, it would take me six hours to finish 30 kilometres a day. It takes between 10 and 12 hours on the horse because he keeps eating on the way."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Xu mentions another issue he has been facing. He claimed Huihui could be seduced by another horse and "elope".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Xu explained, "He tries to elope with another horse almost every day. He is usually reluctant to move, but whenever he meets another horse, I cannot stop him from running to them, no matter how hard I pull the reins."&nbsp;</p>
