<p>A scientist duo, one from the US and the other from India have come up with the idea that the universe might end in a "long freeze", a moment when everything will slow down. There won't be any new sources of energy left and this would lead the existing stars to slowly die down.</p>

<p>It is based on the “holographic dark energy" theory which states that the gravitational force is merely a hologram of a lower-dimensional reality. This means that the universe is a two-dimensional space where quantum forces create the illusion of gravity and 3D space.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the non-peer-reviewed paper published on the preprint server arXiv, the scientists tried to understand the ultimate fate of the universe if holographic dark energy actually rules it.</p>

<p>The researchers found that the universe will continue to expand because of the holographic dark energy but eventually, its influence will slowly start to wane off and all acceleration will slow down. The rate of the universe's expansion will slowly decrease and at a point, the cosmos will reach a nearly static value. This will be the universe's final size.</p>

<p>When this happens, the density of holographic dark energy will also diminish, along with the density of matter, after which the universe will come to its last stop. This scenario has been dubbed as The Long Freeze.</p>

<p>Once the long freeze sets in, the universe is no longer expanding and so there are no new sources of energy for all the matter inside.</p>

However, the captain decided to give the passenger a piece of his mind and told him "When you gotta go, you gotta go". <p>The self-entitled man was in no mood to accept the logic, at which point the captain said he politely told him "that while the airline appreciates his business, the aircraft was owned by United Airlines, and not him."</p>

<h2>Can economy passengers use first-class lavatory?</h2>

<p>The rules differ for airlines and jurisdictions. The captain of the United flight noted that the airline doesn't have any such rule regarding the use of a specific toilet on the airplane based on your seat. However, it once used to be but the rule was loosened several years ago keeping such situations in mind.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, a coach passenger was once arrested for using a business-class lavatory on a flight from Vienna to Abu Dhabi.</p>

<p>On any US domestic flight, one should use the lavatory in their own ticketed cabin first. However, if a drink cart is blocking the way on a single-aisle aircraft, the passenger can use the closest toilet. The best way is to check with a crew member.</p>

<p>Banks could not believe what she was hearing and told the attendant about her job.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I said, ‘Are you kidding me? I’m a Marine Corps vet. I’m going to see my Marine sister. I’ve been in the Marine Corps for 22 years and worked for the Air Force for 15 years. I’m going to visit her,’" Banks said.</p>

<p>However, the crew member did not budge and she was forced to change on the jet bridge. Banks said that she wasn’t wearing a bra and so had to turn her back away.</p>

<p>Rome's Transport Chief Patane told the publication that during these 30 days, the carts were being allowed to operate.</p>

<p>“We have had 33 applications and rejected all but one, but at the end of the 30 days they simply apply again and get another 30 days in which they can operate before being rejected again, and so on. The bureaucracy is perverse and we are asking the transport ministry to adjust the law,” Patane said.</p>

<p>He pointed out that golf carts operated by hotels for their guests were&nbsp;subjected to another article in the highway code and could not be stopped.</p>

<p>“I would like to have a tender to allow about 100 on the roads, but right now there are 350 to 400 and those are just the ones we know about,” the official further said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Two US women from California were removed from a Spirit Airlines flight last week for wearing crop tops, which apparently violates the airlines’ “dress code” for passengers. A flight attendant on the New Orleans-bound flight instructed the two friends to disembark from the plane at the Los Angeles International Airport, as per a local news station.</p>

<p>The women named Tara Kehidi and Teresa Araujo were visiting New Orleans to celebrate Kehidi’s 30th birthday when the incident took place. Both were first wearing sweaters when they boarded the flight but later removed them because the AC was not working.</p>

<p>“We were wearing crop tops ... just like a little bit of stomach showing,” Kehidi told the ABC news affiliate KABC. When a male flight attendant told her and Araujo to “put something on.”</p>

<p>The friend asked: “Can we see a dress code? Like, is there a policy that says we can’t wear crop tops on the plane?”</p>

<p>“I said, ‘Well, if your body is inappropriate, then so is mine because I also have a crop top under my sweater.’ And I took my sweater off and I was like: ‘So if they’re kicking you off the flight, then they’re also going to have to kick me and my toddler off of the flight,’” said Carla Hager, the third woman who was travelling with her child.</p>

<p>Ultimately Kehidi and Araujo gave in to strange demand and offered to put their sweaters back on, but all three women along with Hager’s toddler were removed from the flight with no refund.</p>

<p>“Everyone in the plane was looking at us,” Araujo said. She said that she and Kehidi felt they were being “treated like criminals”.</p>

<p>“I would overhear people speculating if my mother was a ‘crackhead’ – I still have people say that to this day. When people find out my name, they ask for my nickname instead. I tell them if calling me Marijuana isn’t comfortable, they can call me Dr Vandyck," she said.</p>

<p>In an incident that looks straight out of a thriller movie, YouTuber Jack Doherty crashed his $200,000 McLaren supercar in a livestream. The Kick streamer lost control of his fancy car while driving it on a rainy day. The incident was recorded on a live stream that showed the 20-year-old distractedly texting while driving.</p>

<p>Within moments, Doherty lost control of the vehicle, veering straight into a guardrail, leaving him and his cameraman completely flabbergasted. The footage from the influencer’s livestream soon went viral on X, where he can be seen driving the high-end car recklessly.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The incident occurred in Miami, with Doherty’s cameraman, Michael, in the passenger seat. The livestream was featured on the Kick platform. As it was a rainy day, Doherty was caught going way too fast before his car skidded and crashed into a guardrail.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Garcia Glenn White committed five murders in three different transactions and two of his victims were teenage girls. This is the type of case that the death penalty was intended for,"&nbsp;Josh Reiss, chief of the Post-Conviction Writs Division with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston, said ahead of the execution, according to the Citrus County Chronicle.</p>

<p>White, while waiting to be executed, offered an apology to witnesses. "I would like to apologize for all the wrong I have done, and for the pain I've caused,"&nbsp;he said from the death chamber.</p>

<p>The mystery of the twins and their mother’s deaths remained unsolved for more than six years. Later, White confessed to the murders after being arrested in connection with the July 1995 death of grocery store owner Hai Vam Pham. He also confessed to killing another woman named Greta Williams, according to police.&nbsp;</p>

The bureau later said “there is no tsunami threat to Australia,” adding it "acknowledges and apologises for any confusion that this test may have caused."</p>
