Laura Murphy turns into an internet star As she documented her solo honeymoon, Murphy in no time became an internet star. "It's very lonely and isolating because I knew no one my age who had lost a partner. I needed to find people who could relate because I wanted to know how to go on," said Murphy, while speaking to The Washington Post. "I also felt I needed to remove myself from my hometown and our house. I was just sort of sitting there for months not knowing what to do with myself," she added. The woman's account has posts from her travels in London and France. Her friends and family members have been surprised by her decision to document her experience as they have known her to be a "private" person. "It's very out of character for me to be travelling alone, and it's even more out of character to be documenting it for the world," Murphy said. Before her fiance's death, the couple used to live together in Newfoundland. The couple had met at work after Murphy got stuck in the stairwell and he came to her aid after he heard her "banging".
In a rare medical achievement, a 21-year-old woman was able to grow a uterus inside her body with the help of doctors after discovering there was none, because of which she never went through puberty.

“For me, it just never happened. I didn’t speak up about it, because I wasn’t really sure if it was normal or if I was a late bloomer,” she said, while speaking to news.com.au.

She consulted the doctor at the age of 16 and informed him she never had a menstrual cycle or had developed breasts. The doctor carried out the girl's ultrasound and found there was no uterus or cervix and her vaginal canal was also shortened.

The doctors diagnosed the woman with MRKH syndrome, which is a condition in which the vagina and uterus remain underdeveloped or absent even though the external genitalia appear normal.

“I didn’t know what to say, especially after all these years thinking there’s nothing there. I still can’t really get over it,” she added.

A specialist told Ashley that the growth of the uterus was "rare" and added that people generally fail to “grow” the uterus by simply taking medication for oestrogen.

A woman in the United States has earned for herself the title "The Queen of Doomsday" as she spent 10 years and $19,000 preparing herself and her family for a disaster.

The mother of three, who is a self-proclaimed "doomsday prepper", has been scared of World War III or another pandemic happening in the future.

The woman, who has been identified as Krystal, has stocked up medical supplies, electrical goods, medical goods, and food for the entire family.

Speaking about her plan on YouTube's Truly V, she said, "I prep for anything, whether the grid were to collapse and the power turns off, if there's another pandemic, civil war, civil unrest or World War Three. We always prepare for the worst-case scenario and we always hope for the best-case scenario."

Woman gives classes to prepare for doomsday

Krystal has also taken up an interesting job of teaching children how to prepare for emergencies and has been sharing tutorials on social media.

At present, her target is to get supplies for five years of survival and after that, she will aim to go "completely of grid". She has been picking the vegetables which grow in her garden and preserving them in jars.

According to her, the preparation is not all "doom and gloom."

"Civil unrest is one of the many reasons we prep. Here in the USA, we've seen riots and protests increase over time and it's just not something that we want to put our family in or around," Krystal said.

In the doomed ancient city of Pompeii, researchers discovered two skeletons that helped them reconstruct the final moments of people before they died in the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 CE.

36-year-old Siriati was visiting her brother and the two had to go to market together to purchase the medicine in Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi.

However, she was attacked by a gargantuan 30ft-python which held her leg by its teeth while she was trekking along a forest trail.

The woman was crushed to death after she was coiled by the killer reptile who then started to swallow her.

The woman's husband Adiansa started worrying about his wife when her brother called and informed him that she did not reach his house.

He went through the same route and on that trail, found her slippers on the grass. The man, then, stumbled upon a huge snake that had 'a very large belly' and was lying on the ground just some steps away from the path.

The man saw Siriati’s legs coming out of the python’s mouth and her slippers and pants lying on the ground.

He found a wooden stake and killed the snake, by piercing it through the body. With the help of the villagers, he opened the stomach of the snake and found the lifeless body of Siriati.

They recovered the corpse and buried her in the village of Siteb the next morning.

Siteba Village Secretary Iyang said that the mother of five was killed by the snake around 7:30 am local time.

Snake dragged the victim for five metres

"The victim wanted to go out to buy her child's medicine. Her youngest son is three years old. She was visiting her brother and had to go through the forest first," the secretary said.

"Her brother waited for a long time, but the victim didn't come. That's why her brother called the victim's husband. The husband said that Suriati had left early morning," he added.

"So the husband went looking for his wife, he found her sandals on the road in the middle of the forest. He suspected that they had been eaten by a snake because there were snake tracks there," Iyang further stated.

Walenrang Police Chief Adjunct Police Commissioner Idul said that the body of Siriati was found intact. "This snake more or less dragged the victim five metres from the location," he added.

"The condition of the body was intact but perhaps the bones had been crushed. The body is already at the funeral home for a religious ceremony," he said.

Idul stated that there was a wound on the leg of the victim which appeared like a snake bite.

"We think it was a snake bite. After being bitten, it immediately wrapped itself around the leg and finally paralysed the victim," he said.

Snake dragged the victim for five metres "The victim wanted to go out to buy her child's medicine. Her youngest son is three years old. She was visiting her brother and had to go through the forest first," the secretary said. "Her brother waited for a long time, but the victim didn't come. That's why her brother called the victim's husband. The husband said that Suriati had left early morning," he added. Watch: Decoding Vulturing: All about the toxic dating trend "So the husband went looking for his wife, he found her sandals on the road in the middle of the forest. (With inputs from agencies)
