<p>Kohli confirmed that Pandya was "fine" as far as his shoulder injury was concerned but also dropped hints that Shardul Thakur is still not in the scheme of playing eleven as of now but could figure in future.</p>

<p>Former England off-spinner Graeme Swann has predicted that the present ICC T20 World Cup in the UAE will be "the downfall&nbsp;of the West Indies' T20 era," and has tipped either England or Pakistan to win the tournament.</p>

<p>West Indies are the defending champions, but despite having big hitters like Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard, they have struggled, with the Caribbean side putting in one of their worst T20 performances in recent history, getting bowled out&nbsp;for just 55 runs in their first T20 World Cup 'Super 12' game against England.</p>

<p>"I think it is the downfall of West Indies` T20 era. Age and experience are one thing but it can get highlighted if you are not winning. I'm not saying that this West Indies team is past it and they are like Pakistan, they could bounce back anytime," Swann told cricket.com on Friday.</p>

Ali was a vital cog in Pakistan's five-wicket victory against Afghanistan in the Super 12 stage at Dubai International Stadium.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During the match, the 2009 champions restricted Afghanistan to a modest 147-6 and the skipper Babar Azam anchored the chase with a fluent 51 but it was Asif who smashed four sixes in the penultimate over from Karim Janat to clinch the see-saw contest with six balls to spare.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After his power-hitting, Asif pulled off the 'gunshot' celebration, and now the Twitterati can't keep calm as it has reminded them of the former India skipper Dhoni, who has done it a few times in his illustrious career.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Pakistan vs Afghanistan clash was one of the highly anticipated matches, in the cricket showpiece event as more than 16,000 tickets had been issued so that fans can enjoy the live action at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, thousands of ticketless fans travelled to the venue and then attempted to force entry into the stadium, which led to massive chaos. The ICC apologised to ticket holders who could not enter the stadium where the final will also be staged on November 14.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Dubai Police and security staff secured the stadium to ensure the safety of everyone inside and brought in significant additional resources to disperse the crowd and calm the situation," the ICC said in its official statement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"At approximately 7 pm, Dubai Police directed that all gates should remain closed and no further entry was permitted to maintain a safe and controlled environment inside the venue," the statement added.&nbsp;</p>
