As reported by PTI, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi told a group of visiting Indian journalists: "There was a call from Rishi Kapoor. He requested that his family's home in Peshawar should be made into a museum or some sort of institution. We have accepted his request,"</p>

<p>Pakistan's Interior Minister Shehryar Khan Afridi said that Rishi telephoned him to preserve his family's house in Peshawar and “we are responding positively to his request”. "He had called me and talked about making his ancestral home into a museum. Now the federal and provincial governments are working on this and will transform the house into a museum soon," he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The ancestral home was built by Basheswarnath Kapoor, father of Bollywood icon Prithviraj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor, the son of Prithviraj Kapoor, was born in Peshawar on December 14, 1924. The Kapoor family left Peshawar after the partition in 1947.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bollywood icon Dilip Kumar’s ancestral home is also located near the Qissa Khwani Bazar.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sonali Bendre, who has been diagnosed with a rare cancer, has opened up about the ordeals that she has undergone while being treated for the disease. The actor has undergone many painful chemotherapy sessions. &nbsp;She has expressed her fears and agony in her recent Instagram post.</p>

<p>In her post, Bendre quoted Cheryl Strayed from Wild and speaks about the 'bad days'. Bendre muses that how it is important to remember the bad days post chemo sessions and it is not important to be cheerful all the time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Despite such a painful and overwhelming journey, Sonali leaves an inspirational message for all of us.&nbsp;</p>

<p>She tells us how important it is to feel all the emotions of life, and never let us betray ourselves by turning hypocrites and smile through hardships even if we don't want to.</p>

<p>Her post on Instagram renders a message to her followers to cry and feel the pain for a while but only loving and caring ourselves can heal us towards the end.</p>

<p>"I allowed myself to cry, to feel the pain, to indulge in self-pity… for a short while. Only you know what you’re going through and it is fine to accept it. Emotions aren’t wrong. Feeling negative emotions isn’t wrong. But after a point, identify it, recognize it and refuse to let it control your life," posted Sonali on Instagram."<br />

The bad days have been many… Post chemo, post-surgery and the like… where even just laughing hurts. Sometimes it felt like it took everything I’ve had to push past it… a minute to minute battle with myself. I got through it knowing that even though I was fighting a long drawn out, draining battle… it was one that was worth the fight. It’s important to remember that we’re allowed to have those bad days. Forcing yourself to be happy and cheerful all the time serves no purpose. Who are we being fake and putting on an act for? The actor has undergone many painful chemotherapy sessions. She has expressed her fears and agony in her recent Instagram post. In her post, Bendre quoted Cheryl Strayed from Wild and speaks about the 'bad days'. Bendre muses that how it is important to remember the bad days post chemo sessions and it is not important to be cheerful all the time. Despite such a painful and overwhelming journey, Sonali leaves an inspirational message for all of us. She tells us how important it is to feel all the emotions of life, and never let us betray ourselves by turning hypocrites and smile through hardships even if we don't want to. Her post on Instagram renders a message to her followers to cry and feel the pain for a while but only loving and caring ourselves can heal us towards the end. Sometimes it felt like it took everything I’ve had to push past it… a minute to minute battle with myself. Forcing yourself to be happy and cheerful all the time serves no purpose. Who are we being fake and putting on an act for? <p>On what he would want to do as he grows older, precisely his character’s age, Amitabh responded with, “If I live that long, which I won’t, I cannot say what I shall be doing. If I still have the strength and the body, I would wish to continue to act.”</p>

'Only 16 years to go,'he declares to his 75-year-old son Babulal whose personality is a stark contrast from his father. Babulal is calculated man, who lives in the past, mopes too much and generally disapproves his father's way of living life. Which is why Dattareya decides to send his son to an old age home. When Babu resists, Datta agrees to let him stay provided he agrees to certain conditions and performs a few tasks as directed by Dattabhai.&nbsp;</p>

<p>More than four decades after he made his debut with the blockbuster teen romance "Bobby", veteran actor Rishi Kapoor says he now has the freedom to explore his characters and is no longer bracketed in an image.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The actor, 65, who mostly played the romantic hero in his youth, has transitioned into strong character roles, be it the endearing school teacher of "Do Dooni Chaar", the merciless human trafficker of "Agneepath" or the cantankerous 70-year-old son of a centenarian father in his new film "102 Not Out".</p>

<p>"I always try to be different and play varied kind of characters. I am not stagnating in one kind of an image. I am an actor who is doing his job. I am not making a career for myself. What safe (roles) can character actors play? They don't matter at all," Kapoor told PTI.</p>

<p>"Those hackneyed plots are not going to be accepted. It is a healthy thing that actors of my age are getting work today. I am not a young actor. People want to see different kind of films, they are fed up of seeing same formula.</p>

<p>"This is the era of actors now, non-actors are not going to survive. They maybe there for one or two films but if you are not competent enough you cannot survive," he added.</p>

<p>The actor says he will not sign a film if it does not offer something new and challenging.</p>

<p>"I want the role to excite me and I must feel passionate about doing the film. I will not do a run of the mill kind of a film or role. I will not say yes to that. Also, I will not do a film for money."</p>

<p>Kapoor has been a part of Hindi cinema for 45 years but his passion for films has only increased with years.</p>

<p>"I love my work. I am born and brought up into a family of cinema, family of actors. I only know how to act, I don't know anything else. I have been working for 45 years and I have done over 150 films. I am thankful to God that I get paid very much for what I love very much."</p>

<p>What intrigued Kapoor the most about Umesh Shukla directed "102 Not Out" is that the film is about a father-son relationship told in an entertaining way.</p>

<p>"It's a very different story about a 102-year-old man who has a 75-year-old son. I would imagine a son sending his father to old-age home, but here circumstances are such that the father wants to send his son to an old-age home," he said.</p>

<p>Kapoor says it is always a privilege to work with Amitabh Bachchan, who he has reunited with after 27 years.</p>

<p>"Mr Bachchan is a very loved and senior actor... He is the commanding superstar of our industry. And a wonderful actor and colleague to work with."</p>

<p>The two started working together more than 40 years ago with "Kabhi Kabhie" and the last film they did together "Ajooba" 27 years ago, he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Kapoor calls himself a "student of cinema" who is always learning something, be it from older or junior actors.</p>

<p>"I picked up lot of things when I worked with Amit ji. The way he romances his role, the way he flirts with his role and gets into the character that is something I observed.</p>

<p>In the new trailer released today, Amitabh can be seen having a positive attitude towards life while his son leads a much dull and pale life in contrast with Amitabh’s. The two are shown belonging to a Gujarati family.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the opening scene of the trailer, Amitabh declares that he is just 16 years short to being the oldest man alive in the world and that he is going to do everything possible to make it happen. Almost three minutes long, the trailer shows how Rishi’s life brings down the spirit of his father (Amitabh) and his struggle to send Rishi to an old age home so that he can lead his colourful life without any obstacles.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Shashi Kapoor&#39;s final rites took place at Santacruz crematorium in Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon. The entire Kapoor family was in attendance at the funeral as the late actor&#39;s elder son Kunal performed the last rites.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Celebrities braved rains and crowd to attend the funeral of the late actor. Among those who were spotted at the funeral were the Bachchans- Amitabh and Abhishek, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Satish Shah, Naseeruddin Shah and his wife Ratna Pathak Shah, filmmakers Rohan Sippy and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and others.&nbsp;</p>

Shashi Kapoor's funeral: Bollywood bids final goodbye to the legend

<p>National Conference leader and former <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/bihar-court-orders-to-file-fir-against-farooq-abdullah-on-charges-of-treason-24146" target="_blank">chief minister Farooq Abdullah</a>&#39;s remarks&nbsp;over Pok is drawing a lot of ire.</p>

<p>Days after a lawyer in Bihar approached a court over his remarks, a Jammu based social activist has also filed a complaint with a district magistrate.</p>

<p>The Jammu based social activist Sukesh Khajuria has not only filed a complaint against him but also against Rishi Kapoor.</p>

<p>The National Conference president Farooq Abdullah&nbsp;had&nbsp;said earlier that <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/pok-is-part-of-pakistan-farooq-abdullah-23989" target="_blank">Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) belongs to Pakistan</a> and &quot;this won&#39;t change&quot; no matter how many wars India and Pakistan fight against each other. On the demand for autonomy, he said that while the state decided to join India out of love, the country &quot;betrayed&quot; the people of Kashmir and &quot;did not treat them well&quot;.</p>

<p>&quot;We should understand that there has been a decision (of accession), but India didn&#39;t treat us well. India betrayed us. They did not recognise the love with which we chose to join them. That is the reason behind the current situation in Kashmir,&quot; Abdullah told a news agency.</p>

<p>&quot;Internal autonomy is our right. They (Centre) should restore it. Only then the peace will return (to the Valley),&quot; he added.</p>

Complaints were filed against Abdullah in Bihar, Jammu and Delhi

National Conference leader and former chief minister Farooq Abdullah's remarks over Pok is drawing a lot of ire. Days after a lawyer in Bihar approached a court over his remarks, a Jammu based social activist has also filed a complaint with a district magistrate. The Jammu based social activist Sukesh Khajuria has not only filed a complaint against him but also against Rishi Kapoor. The National Conference president Farooq Abdullah had said earlier that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) belongs to Pakistan and "this won't change" no matter how many wars India and Pakistan fight against each other. On the demand for autonomy, he said that while the state decided to join India out of love, the country "betrayed" the people of Kashmir and "did not treat them well". "We should understand that there has been a decision (of accession), but India didn't treat us well. India betrayed us. They did not recognise the love with which we chose to join them. That is the reason behind the current situation in Kashmir," Abdullah told a news agency. "Internal autonomy is our right. They (Centre) should restore it. <p>Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor on Sunday said that he &#39;&#39;wishes to see Pakistan before he dies&#39;&#39;&nbsp;and hopes that his children are able to see their roots.&nbsp;</p>
