<p>He saved it for the last as Shah Rukh Khan paid a rich tribute to his first co-actor Rishi Kapoor who died at the age of 67 in Mumbai.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After hordes of messages for the Kapoor family and Bollywood fraternity honouring Rishi Kapoor for his work in the industry and being a friend to almost everyone, Shah Rukh Khan took out his pen and paper for something that will make you teary-eyed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Having worked in his&nbsp;first film with Rishi Kapoor, 1992's&nbsp;‘Deewana’, Shah Rukh shared details of how he felt while shooting opposite a star. In his post he wrote, "I was insecure about the way I looked and afraid that I was not talented enough. The thought of failing meant nothing though, because even if I failed I would have worked with the greatest actor I knew of - Rishi sahib.”</p>

<p>"On the first day of shoot, he sat for my scene to finish after pack up. Then with that famously radiant smile on his face, he said, "yaar tujhme energy bahut hai! That day in my head I became an actor. I will miss him for many things but more than all of them, I will miss him for the gentle pat on my head every time we met. I will keep it in my heart always as the 'aashirwaad' that made me who I am today."</p>

Married for over three decades, Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor's love story is a typical Bollywood film in itself.</p>

<p>The two met while working on a film called shooting of 1974 movie 'Zehreela Insaan'. It wasn't love at first sight, the two have admitted in later years. In an interview, Rishi Kapoor had recalled, “I remember I had an argument with my girlfriend at the time and I was very heartbroken. Trying to win her back, I had taken Neetu’s help in writing telegrams to my girlfriend while the two of us were shooting for ‘Zehreela Insaan'."<br />

“As time passed, I began to realise that Neetu is the one for me as I began to miss her when I had gone to Europe for a shoot. Ironically, I sent her a telegram from Europe to Kashmir saying that I was thinking of her,” he had added.</p>

<p>Neetu, on the other hand, found him a bully and hated him initially. "I had a horrible first meeting with Rishi Kapoor. He had a habit of bullying, so he would comment on my make-up and clothes, and I'd feel so angry. He was actually a brat who would bully everyone and I was very young at that time. I used to be furious with him," Neetu said.<br />

Love did happen eventually and the two starred in some popular films like 'Kabhi Kabhi', 'Khel Khel Mein' and 'Amar Akbar Anthony'.</p>

<p>Neetu also remembers that her over protective mother would send her cousin with her when she met Rishi Kapoor on dates. "I don't remember the exact moment. But I had signed a lot of movies. I was starting to gain confidence. My mother was very protective of me and used to send my cousin Lovely on my dinner dates with Rishi," said Neetu.</p>

<p>The actress quit acting after she got married to Rishi Kapoor in January 1980 and the couple had their first child Ridhima in September that year. Two years later they had their son Ranbir. Neetu states that she wanted to leave acting as she had to work in films since her childhood and wanted a break from it all and concentrate on her kids. She eventually made her comeback in 'Do Dooni Chaar' in 2010 opposite her husband.</p>

<p>Veteran Bollywood star Nimmi who starred in films in the 1950s and 60s is no more after a prolonged illness. She was 88.</p>

<p>She was brought to the hospital after she complained of breathlessness. She died in the evening, according to hospital authorities in Mumbai. "She was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon after she complained of breathlessness. She passed away this evening. She had been unwell for quite sometime. She had been in and out of hospital this year," a source close to the family was quoted.&nbsp;</p>

<p>She was admitted to a suburban Juhu hospital.</p>

<p>Nimmi was born as Nawab Banoo, who came to be known by her screen name ‘Nimmi’ which was given to her by filmmaker Raj Kapoor. He spotted her for the first time on the sets of his film ‘Andaz’. Raj Kapoor cast her as the second lead in ‘Barsaat’ in 1949. The film had three popular songs -- 'Barsaat me hamse mile tum', 'Hawa me udta jaye' and 'Meri Patli qamar hai' -- all three were picturised on her.</p>

<p>Nimmi got married to writer-director S Ali Raza, who passed away in 2007.&nbsp;</p>
