A year after South Korean satire 'Parasite' took Hollywood by storm, another Korean-language movie, 'Minari', is making waves during awards season. Yet the two films could not be more different.

'Parasite', which made history in 2020 by becoming the first film in a foreign language to win the best picture Oscar, is a dark satire about class and contemporary society in South Korea.

Oscars 2021 Predictions: A look at the frontrunners

'Minari', now in U.S. movie theatres and arriving in South Korea in March, is a tender, quintessentially American story about an immigrant family in the 1980s trying to better themselves by starting a farm in Arkansas. Unlike 'Parasite', it was conceived, produced and filmed in the United States.

"They speak Korean and it`s about a family and there`s some Korean culture involved, but I think this film speaks a lot to what America is. It contains a lot of people doing many different things, many different walks of life, and in that way, it`s quite different from 'Parasite'," said director Lee Isaac Chung.

'Da 5 Bloods', Bridgerton': Golden Globe 2021 snubs find mention in SAG Award nomination list

An intensely personal story, the film is based partly on Chung`s own life as a boy growing up in Arkansas, but there is no satire and barely any mention of racism. Instead the film, which has already won multiple awards nominations, including the Golden Globes, has been widely embraced for its universal humanity. Nominations for the Oscars have not yet been announced.

Korean-American actor Steven Yeun, who plays the father, said he was terrified at taking on the role. "It was scary to approach my father`s generation on a level that isn`t just caricatured but really just trying to get into their humanity. It opened my own eyes into the ways in which I might misunderstand my own father and that generation as well," Yeun said.

Asian descents to black artists: Golden Globes 2021 nominee list is diverse

Yeun, best known for his TV role in 'The Walking Dead', is joined by Korean actors Yeri Han as his stressed wife and Yuh- Jung Youn as his idiosyncratic mother-in-law, who all live together in a sweltering trailer in a remote and unforgiving field.

Chung said the warm response to the film so far has been more than he hoped for. "I do feel hopeful and glad that it seems like audiences are willing to read subtitles, and to watch films that don`t reflect their own experiences," he said. "It seems like they identify with what they`re seeing, and they`re looking more to this shared humanity."

"They speak Korean and it`s about a family and there`s some Korean culture involved, but I think this film speaks a lot to what America is. It contains a lot of people doing many different things, many different walks of life, and in that way, it`s quite different from 'Parasite'," said director Lee Isaac Chung. 'Da 5 Bloods', Bridgerton': Golden Globe 2021 snubs find mention in SAG Award nomination list An intensely personal story, the film is based partly on Chung`s own life as a boy growing up in Arkansas, but there is no satire and barely any mention of racism. Asian descents to black artists: Golden Globes 2021 nominee list is diverse Yeun, best known for his TV role in 'The Walking Dead', is joined by Korean actors Yeri Han as his stressed wife and Yuh- Jung Youn as his idiosyncratic mother-in-law, who all live together in a sweltering trailer in a remote and unforgiving field.

Riverdale actress Madelaine Petsch says she finds it hard to give downtime to herself.

"I don`t allow myself to relax. My therapist was explaining this to me. I have this -- it`s not a childhood trauma -- but it`s a kind of trauma that basically makes you think you always have to be doing something. So I feel like that`s something I have to work on, allowing myself downtime," Petsch told Cosmopolitan magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

She says the busier she is, the less anxiety she experiences.

Talking about why she pushes herself into her work, Petsch said: "The busier I am, the less anxiety I have. I really bury myself in my work because I -- this is maybe a little sad -- but because I want to be other people all the time. I want to bring other people to life. And quarantine for me is like, `whoa, I`m really just Madelaine all the time right now`. When you`re always bringing other people to life, who does that leave you with? I feel like I have to be everything to everybody."

The actress also opened up about how she was "massively bullied online" for her character in Riverdale, where she played Cheryl Marjorie Blossom.

Petsch said: "People would call me a bitch all the time. I was crying in bed every night. I called up my team and was like, `I love my job, but this is hard for me`. And one of my team members was like, `Maybe you should make a YouTube channel and show them how dumb and weird you are?`"

Robin Thicke takes criticism over his song The blurred lines with a pinch of salt. The singer recently opened up about the controversy surrounding his 2013 hit song 'the blurred lines'.

The 2013 hit got him and Pharell Williams in trouble over copyright infringement, and the duo was subsequently ordered by law to give posthumous songwriting credit to Marvin Gaye.

In an interview with Apple music, the singer said, "You just kind of take it with a grain of salt. The reason I started all of this is that I love music, I love to make music, and then, once I started to perform, I love to perform, so I just go for that part of it,"

"Well, really, I never saw it that way when I sang it or performed it. Usually, the first piece, when it goes, `Bum, bum, bum, everybody get up,` the crowd goes crazy. Even people who aren`t big fans of mine, that`s the only (song) they know. We`re just jamming, everybody is meant to get up and dance. That`s all the song is meant to do," he contended.
As per Variety, Jack has joined an A-list ensemble that includes actors Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart and Jamie Lee Curtis. Black will voice the role of Claptrap, a persistently sarcastic robot that is not all that invested in the survival of his teammates. The forthcoming film is being helmed by American filmmaker Eli Roth. The upcoming movie adaptation will mark Eli`s second collaboration with Jack and Cate. The three have previously worked together in the 2018 family comedy `The House With a Clock in Its Walls`.Speaking about his collaboration with Jack, the filmmaker said, "I am so excited to reunite with Jack, this time in the recording booth. Claptrap is the funniest character in the game, and Jack is perfect to bring him to the big screen." Meanwhile, Cate is playing the main protagonist Lilith, while Kevin is portraying a skilled soldier named Roland. Jamie has been cast as Tannis, an archeologist working on Pandora. Craig Mazin, who created the acclaimed HBO miniseries `Chernobyl`, wrote the latest draft of the screenplay. `Borderlands` is based on the famous role-playing shooter game that launched in 2009. The game, which has spawned several sequels, takes place on the planet of Pandora. Arad Productions` Avi Arad and Picturestart`s Erik Feig are producing. Gearbox Entertainment Company founder Randy Pitchford and Take-Two Interactive chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick are serving as executive producers for the feature adaptation. Meanwhile, Jack most recently starred alongside Kevin in `Jumanji: The Next Level`, which grossed more than USD 800 million worldwide. He is next reuniting with `School of Rock` director Richard Linklater for the animated Netflix movie `Apollo 10 1/2 : A Space-Age Adventure`.

"I have a 7-year-old son, and I have realized what my job is in raising him. If we want to have a future that's different, that is where it starts," Berry said during the panel, titled "Women Breaking Barriers: An Industry Shift."

"You made me think of how many conversations I've had with him, say, since he's turned 5 years old, about the differences in boys and girls, and I see how he's taught to feel like he's superior, at 5, then girls are," Berry said, addressing fellow actress Wright.

Berry continued, "I've had to really break that down for him and give him a new perspective, and challenge those thoughts and ask him to identify where that comes from, and if he believes that or not and challenge what he's subconsciously getting from somewhere. I can tell that because we're having those conversations he is going to grow as a deep thinker on the subject. He's going to be determined not to just accept it. I keep challenging him all the time, like 'Well, why is that a 'girl color?'"

Queen Latifah’s new drama, 'The Equalizer', premiered on the gala night of Superbowl 2021.

An Academy Award nominee, Latifah is starring and executive producing the series, which is a reboot of the popular 1980s TV franchise with Edward Woodward. In the new CBS series, Latifah plays Robyn McCall, a divorced single mom raising her teenage daughter. But to a trusted few, she is a mysterious woman who uses her former CIA operative expertise to help people who are desperately in need of justice.

Latifah is the fourth Black woman in the history of TV to be the lead in an hour-long network drama. What she especially loves about her character, Robyn, is that she gets to fight more with her mind than her hands.

“That’s what you haven’t seen enough of, particularly from Black women on television and in a lead role. We've been Equalizing for centuries,” Latifah said at the CBS press day. “We've been Equalizing from Hatshepsut to Stacey Abrams to Kamala Harris. So it's time you see Queen Latifah Equalize on television in this way."

“I like to fight as much as possible!” she exclaimed. “We're getting better with our fight choreography as well. I'm learning a lot about how to do it efficiently and how to preserve my body as well.”

“It's not just fighting for the sake of fighting. It's why is she fighting? Why is she physical? She's not fighting just because she wants to fight. She's fighting because someone did something wrong. She's fighting because someone did something unjust. She's fighting because she has to protect someone.”

Interestingly, Denzel Washington revived the original franchise back in 2014 and 2018 for two action-packed films. While Latifah has the “utmost respect” for Washington, she promised that this new version of The Equalizer will be less dark and more like the original television series.

“I am absolutely excited and love the fact that Denzel made this a relevant product again because I did watch the original series as a kid,” she said. “What Denzel did with the feature films has been incredible. If anything, he set a bar in a way but also gave us a lot of room to go a completely different direction.”

With this new series, Latifah wanted to do something different and bring more warmth to her character.

“We knew we could tell this story from Queen Latifah's perspective and a Black woman's perspective in America, who is a parent,” she said. “We have a different sort of setup for this story that we can tell week in and week out. She faces a different set of circumstances.”

Unlike Denzel's version and the original TV version, these characters are much more “stoic, much more closed off a bit, and guarded,” Latifah acknowledged.

“I think Robyn's character, she doesn't have that luxury. She has a teenage daughter. She's got to figure out how to turn off the soldier in her and turn on the mom ... she's going to get all she can handle from that. Luckily, she has Aunt Vi, played by Lorraine Toussaint, to help her navigate some of those pitfalls that she may face trying to step between those two worlds.”

Calling all horror buffs: the house where the serial killer "Buffalo Bill" of "Silence of the Lambs" traps his victims and where a number of the film's scenes were filmed may soon rent out rooms.

The home, constructed in 1910 in Perryopolis, a suburb of Pittsburgh, stands three stories and offers 2,300 square feet of space.

The interior stands essentially as it was in the classic psychological thriller by Jonathan Demme that won five Oscars.

After the four-bedroom house was sold five years ago for about $195,000, Chris Rowan, a production designer, purchased it for $290,000.

Rowan plans to make the famous haunt a tourist destination, with the aim of renting out stays to visitors, his spokesperson told AFP.

Guests would be able to tour the house, including the cellar where Jame Gumb -- better known as Buffalo Bill -- imprisons the women he kidnaps, and where scenes were filmed in 1991's "Silence of the Lambs."

The new homeowner, a specialist in decorating film sets, plans to recreate Buffalo Bill's savage workshop, and a replica of the pit where Gumb left his victims.

The well doesn't exist in the current house; those scenes were filmed in a studio.

Guests would be able to tour the house, including the cellar where Jame Gumb -- better known as Buffalo Bill -- imprisons the women he kidnaps, and where scenes were filmed in 1991's "Silence of the Lambs." The new homeowner, a specialist in decorating film sets, plans to recreate Buffalo Bill's savage workshop, and a replica of the pit where Gumb left his victims. The well doesn't exist in the current house; those scenes were filmed in a studio. The real estate agent Eileen Allan, who confirmed to AFP the home was sold to Chris Rowan, has uploaded a filmed home tour to YouTube of the space.

'Justice League' Snyder Cut has officially been rated R. The MPAA has given Zack Snyder's Justice League a more stringent content rating than the 2017 theatrical edition that was rated PG-13.

The move confirms the director's thoughts that his redone superhero opus would get an R rating due to some hardcore violence and possible adult language that was added during editing and reshoots.

"Here's one piece of information nobody knows: The movie is insane and so epic and is probably rated R — that's one thing I think will happen, that it will be an R-rated version, for sure," Snyder said.
Britney Spears' social media manager addresses fans’ concerns over pop star's social media accounts

Director Spike Lee`s Vietnam War drama "Da 5 Bloods" roared back into the Hollywood awards race on Thursday when it was nominated for the top prize at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards, while presumed Oscar contender "Mank" got just one nod.

"Da 5 Bloods", from Netflix Inc, scored three nominations, tying with independent Korean-language drama "Minari," and two other Netflix films: jazz period movie "Ma Rainey`s Black Bottom" and 1960s protest film "The Trial of the Chicago 7."

They were joined by Amazon Studios` "One Night in Miami" about the meeting of four Black icons in 1964, in the race for best movie cast ensemble - the top SAG award.

SAG Awards 2021: The full list of nominations

The critically acclaimed 1930s show-business drama "Mank," however, was omitted from the movie cast ensemble field, although Gary Oldman was nominated for best actor for his portrayal of Herman J. Mankiewicz, the screenwriter for film classic "Citizen Kane."

Thursday`s nominations follow those for the Golden Globes on Wednesday, where "Mank" led the pack with six nods but "Da 5 Bloods" was overlooked.

“I Thank The Screen Actors Guild For Their Support Of The Esteemed Ensemble Of DA 5 BLOODS. Also A Love Shout To All Of The Actors Who Did Da Damn Thang," Spike Lee said in a statement.

The SAG Awards, voted on by members of the acting union, will be handed out at a ceremony on April 4. The awards, which only honor actors, are closely watched as an indicator of likely success at the Oscars because actors form the largest voting group in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Last year South Korean satire "Paradise" took the best cast ensemble prize at SAG, and went on to sweep the Oscars a few weeks later.

The late Chadwick Boseman was nominated twice individually on Thursday: for his lead role in drama "Ma Rainey`s Black Bottom" and for his supporting role in "Da 5 Bloods." Boseman died of cancer last August at age 43.

"Minari," the story of a South Korean family struggling to make it in 1980s America, scored nods for actors Steven Yeun and 73-year-old Youn Yuh-jung.

Director Spike Lee`s Vietnam War drama "Da 5 Bloods" roared back into the Hollywood awards race on Thursday when it was nominated for the top prize at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards, while presumed Oscar contender "Mank" got just one nod.

Director Spike Lee`s Vietnam War drama "Da 5 Bloods" roared back into the Hollywood awards race on Thursday when it was nominated for the top prize at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards, while presumed Oscar contender "Mank" got just one nod. "Da 5 Bloods", from Netflix Inc, scored three nominations, tying with independent Korean-language drama "Minari," and two other Netflix films: jazz period movie "Ma Rainey`s Black Bottom" and 1960s protest film "The Trial of the Chicago 7." They were joined by Amazon Studios` "One Night in Miami" about the meeting of four Black icons in 1964, in the race for best movie cast ensemble - the top SAG award. SAG Awards 2021: The full list of nominations The critically acclaimed 1930s show-business drama "Mank," however, was omitted from the movie cast ensemble field, although Gary Oldman was nominated for best actor for his portrayal of Herman J. Mankiewicz, the screenwriter for film classic "Citizen Kane." Thursday`s nominations follow those for the Golden Globes on Wednesday, where "Mank" led the pack with six nods but "Da 5 Bloods" was overlooked. SAG spread its nominations widely, also recognizing the work of film actors Riz Ahmed ("Sound of Metal"), Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman ("The Father"), Amy Adams and Glenn Close ("Hillbilly Elegy"), Carey Mulligan ("Promising Young Woman") and Frances McDormand ("Nomadland.")
American singer Morgan Wallen is facing swift consequences after a video surfaced of the singer using a racial slur. Following the incident, Wallen`s record label Big Loud Records suspended his contract indefinitely.

As per Variety, Wallen`s record label Big Loud, which releases his music jointly with Republic Records, announced on Wednesday that the singer`s recording contract is being suspended "indefinitely."Big Loud Records said in the statement, "In the wake of recent events, Big Loud Records has made the decision to suspend Morgan Wallen`s contract indefinitely."Republic Records, which he is co-signed to, said it "fully supports Big Loud`s decision and agrees such behavior will not be tolerated."

Wallen, whose new track `Dangerous: The Double Album` is about to have a fourth week at the top of the charts, saw his music yanked from major radio networks and streaming service playlists within hours of the video being published on TMZ on Tuesday night. Cumulus, which is powerful in the country radio sphere, sent out a directive to the program directors of all of its 400-plus stations with the header "MORGAN WALLEN -- EXTREMELY IMPORTANT."

The message read, "Team, unfortunately, country music star Morgan Wallen was captured on video Sunday evening using a racial slur. Effective immediately we request that all of Morgan Wallen`s music be removed from our playlists without exception. More to follow."Radio giants like iHeartMedia and Entercom soon followed suit, as did the country music television network CMT. His music has been pulled from the satellite service SiriusXM and the streaming service Pandora, as well as being removed from any visible spots on Spotify and Apple Music.
The video reportedly recorded by Wallen`s neighbors, shows him yelling profanities after a night out in Nashville, including the N-word. Wallen issued a statement on Tuesday night after TMZ first reported the incident, saying, "I am embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better."

However, some fans pointed out that Wallen appeared to be using the term as a "term of endearment" among friends and not as an invective. Wallen has a history of having used the N-word on social media, quoting rap lyrics. In 2012, he tweeted a lyric by rapper Meek Mill, "I burn bread I ain`t talkin toast n---." (That tweet was deleted from Wallen`s account on Wednesday morning.)The move follows a similar one involving singer Marilyn Manson earlier this week, where Loma Vista Records, which distributed his last three albums, announced that it has parted ways with the artist. In 2019, Sony Music dropped R Kelly after multiple allegations of sexual assault and abuse against the singer.

Sabrina Carpenter and Joshua Bassett have something exciting cooking. The 21-year-old singer gave a little insight on her and 'The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' star's upcoming collaboration. Titled 'We Both Know,' Carpenter expressed that the song is "very dear" to her heart.

In an interview, Sabrina said, "I can't say too much and it's on his project so I'm like, I don't want to say too much that I can't say. But it's a collaboration very dear to my heart that I'm very excited about."

Carpenter added that she and Bassett, her rumored boyfriend, worked on it "a while ago. I guess you'll have to see."

Bassett previously opened up about how the collaboration came to be, after writing the song he reached out to Carpenter on Instagram to see if she'd be interested in working together.

"I sent her a quick message and was like, 'Hey I think you're really awesome and I have this song I think you would sound great on, let me know what you think,'" he recalled. "And she responded like ten minutes later, gave me her number, and I sent her the song. Fortunately, she liked it so we got together in the studio and it was just a blast to make."

Carpenter and Bassett's collaboration comes as the two are involved in a fan-made musical feud involving the actor's co-star and rumored ex, Olivia Rodrigo.
Bassett, Carpenter, and Rodrigo have been the subject of a social media frenzy since Rodrigo, 17, released her debut single "drivers license," a breakup ballad seemingly inspired by a messy split from Bassett, her 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series' costar.

Rodrigo's track had the lyric: "And you're probably with that blonde girl/ Who always made me doubt/ She's so much older than me/ She's everything I'm insecure about.
Soon after, Carpenter dropped 'Skin,' an emotional pop 'answer-song' that is seemingly a direct response to Rodrigo's claims. "Maybe you didn't mean it/ Maybe blonde was the only rhyme," she sings on the track.

In one of her earlier interviews, Carpenter opened up about her writing process, saying her songs are a reflection of what is happening in her life.

"I definitely felt that within the songs that I was writing, it wasn't so much struggling with my identity, as struggling with coming to terms with who I am," she said at the time. "I feel like this past year is definitely — ups and downs-wise — like a roller coaster. It's taught me a lot, that's for sure. But it also stretched me to different places that I didn't think that I could go before."

Country singer T.J. Osborne has come out as a homosexual. The member of the Brothers Osborne band is now a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and the only openly gay artist signed to a major country label.

The country music star opened up about his sexuality in an interview with TIME. Osborne also revealed that he has the unconditional support of his brother John, with whom he formed the country duo." I`m very comfortable being gay," the 36-year-old singer told the outlet, explaining that he worried about coming out in an industry that is seen as conservative.

"I find myself being guarded for not wanting to talk about something that I personally don`t have a problem with. That feels so strange."People will ask, 'Why does this even need to be talked about?' and personally, I agree with that. But for me to show up at an awards show with a man would be jaw-dropping to people. It wouldn`t be like, Oh, cool," the artist further said. For the country music star, coming out is something he wants to put "behind me" since it`s "a very small detail" about him."There are times when I think I`ve marginalized this part of me so that I feel better about it," he said.
The Hollywood sign in Los Angeles was reportedly vandalised on Monday and changed to ‘Hollyboob’. According to reports, this was done to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Twitter made note of the change on the signage earlier as people started taking sides over the reported incident with some praising the effort while others slamming it. In the photos that have gone viral, the letter ‘W’ in Hollywood has been replaced by a tarp reading ‘B’ while the ‘D’ has a tiny dash to make it seem like another ‘B’ thus completing the new word ‘Hollyboob’.

The incident came to notice after Los Angeles Police Department security personnel observed five men and one woman on surveillance tape at around 1:15 pm. A police helicopter was alerted and the people involved in the same were arrested.

The report further added that all six arrested would be charged with misdemeanour trespassing and released before quoting LAPD Captain and the Hollywood area commander Steve Lurie saying that the act wasn't vandalism since the sign wasn't damaged.

This is not the first time that the Hollywood signage has been defaced. Back in 2017, the iconic sign was vandalised to read ‘Hollyweed’ to celebrate the legalisation of recreational marijuana in California.

Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto are set to work together in Apple's scripted series 'We Crashed' as the leads. The actors have signed on to star in Apple’s scripted WeWork project, which has been ordered to series at the streamer.

The series is based on the Wondery podcast of the same name. It is described as following the greed-filled rise and inevitable fall of WeWork, one of the world’s most valuable startups, and the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible.

Hathaway and Leto are both Oscar winners. Hathaway won the award for best-supporting actress for her role in the 2012 film version of “Les Misérables,” while Leto won for best-supporting actor for the 2013 drama “Dallas Buyers Club.” Both will serve as executive producers in addition to starring.

According to Variety, Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello will co-write and executive produce the series. Eisenberg previously co-created the hit Apple series “Little America,” on which he was also the showrunner. It was announced last year that Eisenberg had signed an overall deal with the streamer. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra will direct “WeCrashed” in addition to executive producing. Charlie Gogolak and Natalie Sandy will also serve as executive producers along with Emma Ludbrook via her and Leto’s Paradox production company. Apple Studios will produce, with Wondery executive producing.

WeWork was viewed as the next hot startup and was valued at nearly $50 billion at one time. However, the company pulled the plug on an initial public offering in September 2019 in the wake of revelations about the erratic management and personal enrichment of co-founder Adam Neumann, as well as questions about its business model and the role of funders like JPMorgan and Softbank. Neumann resigned from the company around this time, while Wework accepted a bailout from SoftBank in October.

Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter universe has been on a 'Harry Potter' marathon and watched the first part of the series with fans via Instagram Live.

Alongside other fun facts and behind-the-scenes secrets about the film, the British actor shared that his actual grandfather appeared in several scenes of the first movie. Felton seemed pretty excited when he saw his grandpa's first on-screen appearance in 'Sorcerer's Stone.'

"That's my grandfather on the far right, right now," Felton said with what seemed like genuine surprise.

Felton's grandfather appeared briefly at the faculty table in the scene where Harry, Malfoy, and the other first-years enter the Great Hall for the first time.

"That's my gramps!" he shouted during the scene where Professor Quirrell announces there's a troll in the dungeon. "Oh my days, it actually goes my gramps then me."

He spotted him again during the first quidditch match saying, "There's my grandpa again - the guy with the beard ... Right next to Lee Jordan," making it clear exactly which extra he was. In real life, Felton's grandfather is a British researcher and geophysicist

The geophysicist has many honors and published works under his belt, and the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers even has an annual award named after him.

This isn't the first time Felton's shared tidbits about his 'gramps'. Last March, Felton posted a screenshot of Anstey at the quidditch match in 'Sorcerer's Stone' on his Instagram.
Felton seemed pretty excited when he saw his grandpa's first on-screen appearance in 'Sorcerer's Stone.' "That's my grandfather on the far right, right now," Felton said with what seemed like genuine surprise. Felton's grandfather appeared briefly at the faculty table in the scene where Harry, Malfoy, and the other first-years enter the Great Hall for the first time. "That's my gramps!" he shouted during the scene where Professor Quirrell announces there's a troll in the dungeon. "Oh my days, it actually goes my gramps then me." He spotted him again during the first quidditch match saying, "There's my grandpa again - the guy with the beard ... Right next to Lee Jordan," making it clear exactly which extra he was. In real life, Felton's grandfather is a British researcher and geophysicist The geophysicist has many honors and published works under his belt, and the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers even has an annual award named after him. This isn't the first time Felton's shared tidbits about his 'gramps'. Last March, Felton posted a screenshot of Anstey at the quidditch match in 'Sorcerer's Stone' on his Instagram.
