"While we have no firm proof that Iran operationally supported this cowardly attack, it is clear to us all that without Iranian support, Hamas would never have been able to launch this unprecedented attack," he said.

"The jubilant statements from the top of the Iranian regime and some other government officials in the region are abhorrent. The leadership in Tehran shows its true colours without shame, and thereby confirms its role in Gaza."

Scholz, during his special address to the German Parliament, said that his government would ban fundraising, activities, and organisations supporting the Hamas militant group in Germany.

He also announced a ban on the Samidoun association, which he said was celebrating the surprise attack by the militant group.

"The federal interior ministry will ban Hamas from operating in Germany. An association like Samidoun, whose members celebrate the most brutal acts of terror on the open street, will be banned in Germany," Scholz said in a speech to parliament.

A spokesperson for Netanyahu said that toddlers and babies were found in Kfar Aza, a 'kibbutz' or farming community&nbsp;in southern Israel, with their "heads decapitated" after Hamas' attack over the weekend.

Initially, US President Joe Biden claimed to have seen evidence of the baby massacre, but a White House spokesperson later told the Washington Post that the US officials and Biden had not seen pictures or confirmed such reports independently.

Biden reportedly&nbsp;based his comments about the alleged atrocities on the claims from Netanyahu's spokesman and media reports from Israel, according to the White House.

More than 150 people are believed to have been kept as hostages in Gaza comprising&nbsp;soldiers, men, women, children, and older adults.

Israel has ramped up attacks against Gaza in recent days, with several top ministers announcing an invasion in the coming days.

At least 1,300 Israelis have been killed since Hamas launched the terror attack, while 1,203 Palestinians have lost their lives in the airstrikes carried out by Israel in the Gaza Strip.

On Sunday, Israel halted the entry of food, water, fuel and medicine into the territory. leaving Gaza's 2.3 million residents without electricity, internet or running water.&nbsp;

In the video footage, which is getting circulated on social media, a man can be seen getting stabbed several times in the chest and shoulder by an assailant, who was carrying a knife.&nbsp;

The victim was then seen falling on the ground as the attacker fled the scene.

Yossi Landau has spent decades collecting corpses in Israel, but he almost reached breaking point recovering the remains of people killed by Hamas militants from Gaza in the country's deadliest assault.

Landau woke to the sounds of sirens on Saturday, a moment he had become "used to" as Israelis took shelter from incoming rocket fire.

It was not until later that he realised the launches were "only a cover up, because the main part is the invasion" by Hamas militants, who swept across the Gaza border to kill an estimated 1,200 people.

From his home in Ashdod, a coastal city north of Gaza, he recalled seeing "the horror" as he rushed to the scene.

"I saw cars turned over, I saw people on the street dead," Landau said in Sderot, a town near the border where multiple residents were killed.

He has 33 years of experience volunteering for Zaka, an organisation which recovers the bodies of people who suffered unnatural deaths.

But as gunfights raged between Palestinian militants and Israeli forces, Landau said he witnessed violence he had never seen before.

"A piece of road that should've taken 15 minutes, it took us 11 hours because we went and picked up everyone, put them in a bag," said the 55-year-old.

Abandoned cars which were torched or riddled with bullet holes still litter the landscape of southern Israel.

After already loading dozens of corpses onto refrigerated trucks, Landau and fellow volunteers reached Beeri, a kibbutz of around 1,200 residents five kilometres (three miles) from Gaza.

"I felt that I'm falling apart, not only me, my whole crew," he recalled, after entering the first home and finding a dead woman.

"Her stomach was ripped open, a baby was there, still connected with the cord, and stabbed," said Landau.

The Zaka volunteer said he saw multiple civilians, including around 20 children, who had their hands tied behind their backs before being shot and torched.

"We saw some victims positioned that they were sexually abused," he added.

<h2>Stricken festival site</h2>

More than 100 people were killed in the kibbutz, while around 270 were left dead at the nearby Supernova music festival.

While the bodies of the revellers have been removed from the site, their belongings were left strewn across the dusty grass.

When an AFP journalist visited on Thursday, beanbags, artworks and a bag of energy drinks were among the possessions on the ground as soldiers walked by.

Blood splattered the inside of a car, not far from a sign detailing hiking routes through the forest.

Although Israel said it has retaken control of the border area, the army still reports firefights with holdout militants.

The military announced soldiers had "killed a terrorist" around a kibbutz a few kilometres away from the festival grounds on Thursday, soon after distant gunfire was heard from the site.

In response to the Hamas assault, Israel has so far hit Gaza with 6,000 bombs according to military figures.

The strikes have killed 1,417 Gazans, according to health officials in the Palestinian territory.

Confronting with the scale of violence, Landau said he doesn't "feel anything right now."

"We just take our feelings, with our job, and we separate it. And that's what we have to do," he said.

The caption of the post noted that Netanyahu showed those pictures to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who visited the warring nation on Thursday.&nbsp;

US President Joe Biden said he saw "confirmed pictures of terrorists beheading children", appearing to corroborate reports of a deadly onslaught allegedly by Hamas militants who devastated Israel's Kibbutz Kfar Aza, located close to Gaza.&nbsp;

The polls revealed that four out of five Jewish Israelis have been blaming Netanyahu and the government for the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood carried out by Hamas against Israel.

"An overwhelming majority of 86% of respondents, including 79% of coalition supporters, said the surprise attack from Gaza is a failure of the country's leadership, while a staggering 92% said the war is causing anxiety," it stated.&nbsp;

"Furthermore, almost all of the respondents (94%) believe the government has responsibility for the lack of security preparedness that led to the assault on the South, with over 75% saying the government holds most of the responsibility," as per the report.
