<p>It's celebration time at superstar Rajinikanth house as the actor's younger daughter Soundarya is all set to tie the knot with actor-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi in February. According to media reports, Soundarya and Vishagan will tie the knot on 11th February in Chennai.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Pre-wedding ceremonies will begin from 9th February onwards and a ceremonial puja will take place at Rajinikanth's residence in Poes Garden in the first week of February.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The wedding is expected to be large scale with the bride's elder sister, Aishwaryaa, actor Dhanush's wife, taking charge of the invitations.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Media reports state that Soundarya was seen shopping for her Soundarya trousseau at a saree store in Chennai recently. She &nbsp;got engaged to Vishagan last year.</p>

<p>This will be Soundarya and Vishagan Vanangamudi's second marriage. Soundarya was earlier married to R Ashwin from 2010-2017 and has a three-year-old son with him. Vishagan was married to magazine editor Kanikha Kumaran earlier.</p>

<p>Soundarya is an animator and a filmmaker. She has in the past directed 'Kochadaiiyaan' which featured her father and Deepika Padukone.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The family has not yet confirmed the news of the wedding&nbsp;to the press.&nbsp;</p>

Speaking about his film, Dhanush said, “Anbu is a career-defining role. The first time Vetrimaaran spoke about this story was in 2003. We began working on ‘Polladhavan,’ and at that point of time, we could not make this film. We kept it aside to do later. After Aadukalam, we wondered ‘what’s next?’ And, then recalled this script.”<br />

“Vetri was planning to cast Simbu as Anbu and he offered me the role of Rajan. Although Rajan is an impactful character, I was not keen on playing Rajan. I don’t mind saying that I was greedy for the role of Anbu. So I declined to play Rajan. But then Simbu could not take it up and Anbu came to me. It was meant to happen,” he added.&nbsp;<br />
&nbsp;<br />
Interestingly, Vetrimaaran’s last film ‘Visaranai’ was India’s entry to Oscars last year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&#39;&#39;The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir&#39;&#39; is an upcoming English-comedy adventure directed by Ken Scott featuring Dhanush and Academy award nominee B&eacute;r&eacute;nice Bejo in lead roles.</p>

<p>The film is based on the best-selling novel by French author Romain Puertolas, revolves around a journey of Fakir who gets trapped&nbsp;in an Ikea Wardrobe.</p>

<p>The film also features Academy award nominee Barkhad Abdi, G&eacute;rard Jugnot, Erin Moriarty and Abel Jafri.</p>

<p>Shot in four different location --&nbsp;India, France, Italy, and Belgium -- the movie will also release in French.</p>

The movie is based on a French novel by Romain Puertolas titled ''The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir'' who got trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe.

After two successful Bollywood outings, Dhanush is out to prove his mettle in International cinema with the "The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir." <p>The CBI has filed an FIR after fake Chinese-made &quot;Made-in-Germany&quot; spare parts found their way into an Indian-made artillery gun.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The FIR was filed against Sidh Sales Syndicate -- the company that supplied the parts -- and unidentified officials of the Guns Carriage Factory in Jabalpur.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The CBI alleges the supplier entered into a criminal conspiracy with the GCF officials.</p>

<p>The gun in question is the Dhanush, the Indian version of the Bofors artillery gun which performed exceedingly well in the 1999 Kargil conflict.</p>

<p>The part is something called a &quot;wire race roller bearing&quot;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>&quot;In furtherance of the said criminal conspiracy, unknown officials of GCF accepted the Chinese manufactured &#39;Wire Race Roller Bearings&#39; supplied by Sidh Sales Syndicate which were embossed as &#39;CRB-Made in Germany&#39;,&quot; PTI reported the CBI as saying in its FIR.</p>

<p>The CBI added production and performance of the Dhanush gun is extremely crucial for India&#39;s defence preparedness and that the &quot;wire race roller bearing&quot; is a vital component.</p>
