<p>The director is happy that his performance in the short film, that released recently on YouTube, has been appreciated. Jha won the best actor award for the same in the short film category of the first edition of New Jersey Indian International Film Festival.</p>

<p>Directed by Mudassir Mashalkar, 'Justaju'&nbsp;chronicles a day in the life of Valmiki, whose wife expired 15 years ago.</p>

<p>Jha, who made his acting debut with his 2016 directorial venture 'Jai Gangaajal', says he is happy with the different kind of roles being offered to him.</p>

<p>"I was really surprised they thought of me as I am nothing like Valmiki but he (director) was quite convinced. I thought it would be a great learning experience, trying to find that character so it was fun."</p>

<p>Jha says the director in him does not interfere with his acting process.</p>

<p>"As an actor, I do discuss things with my director. I follow my director's vision. But I never interfere," he adds.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Though he loves exploring the actor side of him, he equally enjoys directing films, which, the filmmaker says, is an "exhilarating" experience for him.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Even if I am behind the camera, writing a script or shooting in front of thousands of people, it has always been enjoyable. It has been exhilarating and extremely enriching, learning process," Jha adds.</p>

<p>But Butt said his experience in India has always been a pleasant one.</p>

<p>"My experience in India has always been very good because I have visited this place regularly for hockey leagues and India-Pakistan series. As far as travelling with the national team is concerned, we have enjoyed the love of the people of Bhubaneshwar. The security also has been foolproof in arranging safe trips to places of our interest," Butt said.</p>

<p>According to Butt, the security here is lot more lenient than what it was in New Delhi during 2010 the Commonwealth Games.</p>

<p>Celebrated Indian music composer AR Rahman once felt like a failure and contemplated suicide every day. In an interview on his life and tough phases that lifted him up and made him what he is today, Rahman opened up on the initial low phase of his career.&nbsp;<br />

The Oscar-winning composer told PTI: "Up until 25, I used to think about suicide. Most of us feel they are not good enough. Because I lost my father, there was this void... There were so many things happening. (But) that in a way made me more fearless. Death is a permanent thing for everyone. Since everything created has an expiry date, so why be afraid of anything?"<br />

Rahman points out that building his own recording studio called the Panchathan Record Inn in his backyard in hometown Chennai, made all the difference. He elaborated: “Before that, things were dormant so maybe it (the feeling) manifested then. Because of my father's death and the way he was working, I didn't do many movies. I got 35 movies and I did two. Everyone wondered 'How are you going to survive? You have everything, grab it.' I was 25 then. I couldn't do that. It's like eating everything. You become numb. So even if you eat small meals, make it fulfilling.”<br />

The 51-year-old composer triggered a dialogue on mental health and hiccups in one’s life as he saw the release of his book, ‘Notes of a Dream: The Authorized Biography of AR Rahman’. He said, "I never liked my original name Dileep Kumar. I don't even know why I hated it. I felt it didn't match my personality. I wanted to become another person. I felt like that would define and change my whole (being). I wanted to get rid of all the past luggage.”<br />

"You manifest who you are and let it out. So when you are ideating on your mental drawing book, you need a lot of self-analysis and you have to dive deep within you. You need to listen to yourself. <p>The grand total of the blockbuster film is a whopping US $75 million or Rs 543 crore.</p>

<p>The first ever Indian film to be completely made using 3D cameras had created a huge excitement among fans ever since it was announced.</p>

<p>A sequel to Shankar’s 2010 blockbuster “Enthiran”, the film has been produced by Lyca Productions and is set to release on November 29.</p>

<p>“2.0” also stars Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in important roles.</p>

<p>The film, which also marks Akshay’s Tamil debut, sees him in the role of an antagonist, Dr. Richard/Crowman. While Rajini will reprise his role of Dr. Vaseegaran/Chitti from the original.</p>

<p>"2.0" was supposed to release on Diwali 2017, was pushed to&nbsp;January 2018 release owing to pending VFX work and was then finally shifted to April when the makers failed to meet the deadline.</p>

<p>At US $75 million, 2.0 is more expensive than several successful Hollywood VFX classics. Deadpool (2016) had originally cost only US $58 million.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Even X-Men (2000) was made in US $75 million and Batman (1989) in US $35 million.</p>

<p>The short films were screened together for three consecutive packed shows, attended by film enthusiasts and industry friends, including Kashyap and Motwane.<br />
<br />
"It's very satisfying. It's a film that I had loved at the script stage itself. I wanted to produce the film at the script level itself before even my wife was cast. The journey has taken its own time," Motwane said at the screening.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The 'Lootera'&nbsp;director, who was amazed&nbsp;by the turnout, said he wasn't expecting the films to be dropped from the festival.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
"We both had told Atul and Shazia that if need be, we would drop our names. Of course, we don't endorse it but when you have to do it, you have to do it. But when they got dropped... I don't know... It's disappointing not for me but for the cast and the crew, which put in so much hard work," he added.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
'Bebaak'&nbsp;director Shazia in an open letter had questioned MAMI's decision to drop the films and had called it a "knee-jerk" reaction as the film was independently backed by Kashyap and not Phantom Films, which now stands dissolved.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
"I just wanted the film to be seen by people and it's overwhelming to see such a huge turnout. I was not expecting it," Shazia said.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The filmmaker added that though the anger hasn't settled, she doesn't regret whatever transpired.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
"I don't want to say that I am still pissed about it but I don't regret it. It's fine. Whatever had to happen, happened. It's in the past. I wanted people to see the film and that has happened. To physically get people to watch the film, that effort has paid off," she said</p>

"It's very satisfying. It's a film that I had loved at the script stage itself. I wanted to produce the film at the script level itself before even my wife was cast. The journey has taken its own time," Motwane said at the screening. The 'Lootera' director, who was amazed by the turnout, said he wasn't expecting the films to be dropped from the festival. "We both had told Atul and Shazia that if need be, we would drop our names. Of course, we don't endorse it but when you have to do it, you have to do it. But when they got dropped... I don't know... It's disappointing not for me but for the cast and the crew, which put in so much hard work," he added. 'Bebaak' director Shazia in an open letter had questioned MAMI's decision to drop the films and had called it a "knee-jerk" reaction as the film was independently backed by Kashyap and not Phantom Films, which now stands dissolved. "I just wanted the film to be seen by people and it's overwhelming to see such a huge turnout. I was not expecting it," Shazia said. The filmmaker added that though the anger hasn't settled, she doesn't regret whatever transpired. "I don't want to say that I am still pissed about it but I don't regret it. It's fine. Whatever had to happen, happened. It's in the past. I wanted people to see the film and that has happened. To physically get people to watch the film, that effort has paid off," she said

I wanted to portray her story, the hardships and rough phase when she was not getting films and was trying for character roles. I wanted to show the true story behind the superstar Shakeela. She has been an integral part of the making of this film and she has given us such detailed insights into her life. Even Richa got to spend time with her, understand her style of talking, her body language and such nuances. In fact, when she came on set, she gave us very interesting insights like about art direction and how her house was and is in real life, such small details which have helped us. It was nice shooting her for Shakeela biopic, though I have shot with her before for my another film in 2003. That sparked an interest in me to make a film on her and in 2015 after conceiving the idea of making a film on her I met her and realised my dream.I feel every woman and girl who wants t be an actress should see her story, to know what she went through to become an actress and how it was such a compelling rags to riches to rags story of her life”.</p>

The result I have become a half Indian version of Angelina Jolie (since only one breast was involved)! I told my doctor now is the time to give some competition to the Kardashians since Pamela is passé. But no one listened to me, so now I have a portion of my back tissue in my breast. Perhaps now I can do chin-ups with my breasts! Jokes apart, this obstacle has given me a new definition of life. Respect it’s unpredictability and have the faith and courage to be the hero of your own drama of life. The invincible human spirit is God like, gives you the courage to endure and the will to revive. There is nothing that human spirit can’t do. Also I want women of all ages to be aware. I am 35, and I was returned twice over from a mammogram. If any symptoms come up, think of it as a protective force and get yourselves examined. Also we are so obsessed with boobs. This mastectomy has left me with even more self love! Big, small, left or right inclined , gravity pulling or defying, or even none, each breast the presence or lack of it has a story to tell. Mine has made me a 2.0 version of myself!
