Now, a source close Sonam has said that the newlyweds have not zeroed in on any house so far and that Sonam will continue to stay at her father Anil Kapoor's bungalow for the time being. "It is true that the couple was seen checking out some property in Mumbai close to her parents' home. But they didn't zero in on anything they like. Honestly, Anil Kapoor wants Sonam and her husband to stay in the Kapoor bungalow," an entertainment site quoted the source as saying.&nbsp;<br />

Apparently, their religious sentiments were hurt after the couple violated a Sikh tradition.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to a report published in a tabloid, some former office bearers of the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) have reportedly accused the current SGPC members of not removing Anand’s <em>kalgi</em> (brooch) from his turban during the ceremony. According to Sikh tradition, in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib, the <em>kalgi</em> has to be removed during the marriage rituals. Now that the SGPC staffers forgot to take it off, the former office-bearers have brought this to the notice of the Akal Takht.</p>

<p>They want strict action to be taken against the SGPC members who officiated the Anand Karaj ceremony for Sonam and Anand.</p>

Now that Sonam Kapoor is happily married to her longtime partner Anand Ahuja, she will also not just be called Kapoor but Kapoor Ahuja. In an Instagram update, the bride changed the name on her profile and wrote: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. Well, that was quick Sonam, considering it was only today you got married! The actress chose an Anuradha Vakil lehenga for her Sikh wedding in Mumbai earlier today. She accentuated the look with some heavy gold jewellery and elaborate headpieces -- a heavy maang tika and more. She layered her entire look well although some felt she could have put on less jewellery. Her husband Anand Ahuja chose a subtle golden sherwani that complemented the bride’s attire. He also added some colour to his look with pearl and stone neckpiece.
