At least four militants belonging to Afghanistan's insurgent group, Taliban were killed in an operation conducted by the Afghan security forces in southern Helmand province. As per media reports, the provincial governor's office in a statement informed that five other insurgents were injured in the operation. The operation was launched in Gereshk district of the province to clear the area of insurgents. "Some weapons belonging to the Taliban were seized by security forces during the operation," the officials said. Taliban has not commented on the airstrikes, so far. Yesterday, the Afghan Ministry of Defence (MoD) said that at least 28 insurgents were killed during the military operations carried out by the security forces in the past 24 hours.
