UP Board examinations for class 10th and 12th were conducted in the state in the month of February this year

Uttar Pradesh Board's Class X and XII results were announced a short while ago. 72.27 per cent of the total number of boys appearing for Class 12 exam passed the exam while the passing percentage of girls is 78.81 per cent.

Rajneesh Shukla and Akash Maurya secured 466 marks each and topped the state board's Class 12 examination.

Anjali Verma scored 96.33 per cent and topped the Class 10 state examinations.

72.43 per cent students passed Class 12 exams; the pass percentage for Class 10 stands at 75.16 per cent.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated students for passing the exam. "I am really happy that such a good result has come," the CM noted.

UP Board examinations for class 10th and 12th were conducted in the state in the month of February this year. The evaluation started from March 17 which involved over 1 lakh examiners.

Last year, Fatehpur's Priyanshi Tiwari stood first in Class 12 scoring 96.2 per cent. Tejaswi Devi topped the state exams with 95.83 per cent in Class 10.
