In a shocking turn of events, Telugu actor Chandrakanth,best known for his work intelevision shows, died by suicide at his residence in Alkapur, Telangana, on Friday (May 17).
This disheartening news comes a few days after his close friend and actorPavithra Jayaram died in a car accident. As per reports, his father has told the policethat Chandrakanth was deeply affected by Pavithra's sudden death and has been under depressionsince then.
Chandrakanth was found dead at his residence in Alkapur, and that area comes under Narsingh Police Station in Rangareddy District.
Lovingly known as Chandu, the actor had been continuously sharing grieving posts for his co-star on his Instagram handle. His last post was a heartfelt note for Pavitra. Chandrakanth's Instagram feed is filled with photos and videos of him and Pavithra.

A few days back, Chandrakanth shared an emotional post that read, ''Naannnaa ... pls hey wait for just 2days ra.. (sic)."

It has been reported that Chandrakanth and Pavithra Jayaram were in a relationship. Soon, they were planning to make their relationship official. Chandrakanth's fans have expressed their shock over his sudden death.

Actor Pavithra Jayaram died in a road accident in Mahbubnagar district in Telangana. The actress, best- known for starring in the hit Telugu television series Trinayani, was returning from Bengaluru to Hyderabad when her car lost control and hit the divider and subsequently,a bus rammed into her car.
