Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar have been famous for their friendship for a long time now. The superstar took to his Twitter to support Karan after the latter was trolled mercilessly on social media today.

Karan had apparently liked a tweet in the morning that praised ‘Kesari’ starring Akshay Kumar in the lead. While there’s nothing wrong with this tweet as Karan was the producer of the film, there’s more to this story. The said tweet also compared Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar in terms of their stardom and star power as ‘Kesari’ performed well vs ‘Zero’ that tanked at the box office.

After Karan liked this tweet, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans took to Twitter and trolled Karan for dissing his good friend Khan over Kumar.

Karan, however, took to Twitter to address the issue and said that due to some “technical problem” this happened. He wrote: "Guys having a technical problem with my twitter account! Strange things are going on! From uploading shoe picture and gibberish to liking tweets I haven't even read and would never even acknowledge! Please bear with me and I apologise for any inconvenience! Sorting it out asap."

But nobody believed this and the trolling kept happening. It even started to trend on Twitter with the hashtag -- "#ShameOnKaranJohar".

Finally, Khan took the matters in his own hands and wrote: "I hate clarifications on social media. Karan Johar is technologically challenged but has other good qualities like his taste in clothes!? Just like Life, Twitter doesn't come with instructions, so mistakes are natural... and also he has fat fingers. Go easy all, Make love not war.”
