Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher recently revealed that he was diagnosed with vasculitis. Kutcher suffered from the disease two years ago and revealed how he was unable to walk, talk or hear due to the disease.&nbsp;

Kutcher spoke about his diagnosis in <a href="https://www.wionews.com/entertainment/lifestyle/news-ashton-kutcher-reveals-he-was-diagnosed-with-vasculitis-lucky-to-be-alive-505038">'Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge'. </a>" "Like two years ago, I had this weird, super rare form of vasculitis that, like, knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out, like, all my equilibrium," said Kutcher on the show.&nbsp;

What is Vasculitis?

According to Mayo Clinic, a person diagnosed with Vasculitis has inflammatory blood vessels. The inflammation can cause the thickening of the walls of the blood vessel and reduce the width of the passageway through the vessel. If blood flow is restricted, it may lead to organ and tissue failure.

There are several types of vasculitis and they may affect one organ or several. Most of cases vasculitis is rare. The person diagnosed with the disease may have symptoms that can last a long time or for a short duration. The disease is also not age restricted and can happen to anyone. Depending on the type you have, you may improve without treatment. Most types require medications to control the inflammation and prevent flare-ups.

What are the symptoms of Vasculitis?

A person suffering from Vasculitis may have fever, headache, experience fatigue, weight loss and general aches and pains.&nbsp;

If the stomach or intestine is affected you may experience pain after eating. Ulcers and perforations are possible and may result in blood in the stool.

If it has affected the ears, one can experience dizziness, and ringing in the ears and abrupt hearing loss may also occur in certain cases.

Vasculitis can make your eyes look red and itch or burn. Giant cell arteritis can cause double vision and temporary or permanent blindness in one or both eyes. This is sometimes the first sign of the disease.

Some types of vasculitis can cause numbness or weakness in a hand or foot. The palms of the hands and soles of the feet might swell or harden.

If it affects the lungs one may develop shortness of breath or even cough up blood if vasculitis affects your lungs.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian recently underwent a tightening treatment on her stomach. Taking to Instagram, Kim shared a glimpse of her treatment session. She posted a photo of her red abdomen after applying the Morpheous laser treatment to her stomach. "This is a game changer. I think this is my fave laser but it's painful lol but worth it," she captioned the post.

In June, the reality star spoke with People about her skincare line, SKKN BY KIM, as she reflected on her life so far. "There is nothing I would trade to go back to who I once was," Kim shared. "The wisdom that I have now, I don't care how young I looked. I am so much happier in my skin now."

Recently, Kim also made headlines after she revealed that she lost 26 pounds in order to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s iconic "Happy Birthday" dress for the 2022 Met Gala. The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star admitted that she had to make an appointment with "a rheumatologist" for her "psoriasis", adding that she was on "steroids".

"Psoriasis broke out over my body and I got psoriatic arthritis, so I couldn’t really move my hands. I had to go to a rheumatologist who put me on a steroid. I was freaking out. I cut out the meat again, and it's calmed down," said Kim.&nbsp;

Talking about her Met Gala prep-up, the Kardashian disclosed that she was on a strict diet without any carbs and sugar for three weeks so that the Marilyn Monroe dress fitted her perfectly."I tried it on and it didn't fit me. I said, 'Give me three weeks.’ I had to lose 16 pounds today. It was such a challenge. It was like a movie role. I was determined to fit into it. I haven't had carbs or sugar in about three weeks," said Kim to a fashion magazine.&nbsp;

However, upon receiving quite a backlash after undergoing such a strict regimen, Kardashian clarified that she was not "starving" herself and had a "nutritionist", reported People magazine. She even admitted to drinking "more water" as well.

"If I was starving and doing it really unhealthy, I would say that, of course, that's not a good message. But I had a nutritionist, I had a trainer. I have never drunk more water in my life. I don't see the criticism for other people when they lost weight for roles -- they are considered geniuses for their craft," said Kim.

There has been a long-held belief that women outlive men. But a recent study seems to be challenging the age-old belief. A new study though states that while men do have a lower life expectancy, they have a "substantial chance of outliving females”. The analysis is based on studying two centuries across all continents.&nbsp;

The study, published in the BMJ Open Journal has examined data on the lifespan of both men and women across 199 countries for almost 200 years. It concluded that men have a high probability of outliving women, especially those who are married or have a degree.&nbsp;

“Males who are married or have a university degree tend to outlive females who are unmarried or do not have a high school diploma,” the authors of the study stated.&nbsp;

The study also indicated that in developed countries the probability of men outliving women fell until the 1970s but it gradually increased in all populations in the subsequent years. The rise and fall in the differences in life expectancy rate were mainly due to lifestyle habits including smoking and behavioural differences.&nbsp;

Fashion is one of the most unpredictable things in this entire world.&nbsp;We have seen many times in the past how luxurious brands are selling common fabric pieces with a huge price tag, and now just adding another one to the list is a pair of blue strip shorts - very familiar&nbsp;menswear in an Indian household.&nbsp;

This all started after a Twitter user named Arshad Wahid shared a screengrab showing the two clothing items and the price.&nbsp;

The screenshot shows the image of a blue-print short and the second image shows a model wearing a very common checkered print matching shirt and shorts with an exorbitant price of 11 K.&nbsp;

The Spanish government’s recent summer campaign inviting&nbsp;women of all shapes and sizes to hit the beach has flopped&nbsp;a second time after one of the models in the advertisement claimed that her prosthetic limb had been edited out. The British model was left infuriated after knowing that her image was used by Spain’s government without her permission.

She also claimed that her prosthetic leg was edited out.

Spain’s Equality ministry used photographs of five women as a part of its body positivity campaign. The 32-year-old Sian Green-Lord said she found out about the campaign through her friends. She is the second woman in the ad who claims that her images were used without her consent.

Londoner Nyome Nicholas-Williams said an image taken from her Instagram account was used by the Spanish Institute for Women in their poster, the BBC reported. The image features five women relaxing on the beach, with the slogan “Summer Is Ours Too” on it. At the lower left of the picture, Ms Green-Lord can be seen.

The British influencer, speaking about the matter in an Instagram Story, said that she was left “shaking with rage” when she discovered that her prosthetic leg had been edited out of her images. She also mentioned that&nbsp;the bikini she was wearing was also changed.

Sharing a video message, she said, “I don’t know how to even explain the amount of anger that I’m feeling right now. There’s one thing using my image without my permission. But there’s another thing editing my body.”

The BBC quoted Ms Green-Lord as saying, “I literally don’t even know what to say but it’s beyond wrong.” The model’s leg was amputated after being struck by a taxi in 2013 while she was holidaying in New York.

Arte Mapache, who created the campaign, on Thursday issued an apology for incorporating the photos without formal permission from the models. “Given the (justified) controversy over the image rights in the illustration, I have decided that the best way to make amends for the damage that may have resulted from my actions is to share out the money I received for the work and give equal parts to the people in the poster,” she said.

The Spanish government has not addressed the controversy yet. However, the Women’s Institute that used her image said in a statement earlier this week: “The campaign is intended as a response to fatphobia, hatred and the questioning of non-normative bodies – particularly those of women, something that’s most prevalent in the summertime.”

In a recent interview given to Harper's Bazaar, the 50-year-old Hollywood star Jennifer Garner shared some beauty advice that goes against the norm. The actress and mother of three said, "Be cautious when it comes to injecting anything into your face. Be very, very incredibly judicious and wait as absolutely long as possible to add anything." She added, "Don’t think that you’re 37 and you need to be shooting up your face."

She also said that one need not focus on perfection, "You don’t need to wear so much makeup or have such a constant blowout."

"My beauty advice is always the same," she continued, "Look in the mirror less, obsess less, and look at the rest of the world to see what you could be using your time for instead."

On the topic of society's obsession with appearance, Garner said, "We all look at our faces more than people used to, And it doesn’t do you any good. You obsess over changes or how to fix something on your face."

Garner shared her hair care routine that she does seem to advocate for. She said, "My day usually starts with a really hard workout. Then, [my hair] gets all gross, so I have to wash it." She said that to ensure that her hair does not suffer harshness from over-shampooing, she always uses a hair mask over the weekend to add nourishment.

It has been 154 days since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which caused uncountable damage to the country and several casualties so far. Amid this war zone, Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelensky, and his wife, Olena Zelenska, appeared on the cover page of Vogue magazine. Though the photoshoot in the midst of a conflict may look absurd, Vogue describes Ukraine’s First Lady as a “key player” and the face of the nation. The magazine named the digital edition “Portrait of bravery”, placing Zelenska on its cover as she strikes a pose for the cameras, accompanied by soldiers and debris from the annexation. In another image shared by Vogue on its Instagram handle, Zelenska is sitting inside the presidential office, wearing casual black pants with a white top. The couple talked about several topics with the magazine. They spoke about their nearly 20 years of marriage, their shared past, and leading life without their children, who must be kept apart because of Russia’s ongoing invasion of the nation. In a face-to-face interview, the President and First Lady spoke to a Vogue crew in Kyiv. The shoot in Ukraine was handled by Vogue’s go-to photographer, Annie Leibovitz. Sharing an image from the shoot on Instagram, Vogue wrote, “As the war in Ukraine enters a critical new phase, the country’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska, has become a key player — a frontline diplomat and the face of her nation’s emotional toll.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Vogue (@voguemagazine) × Also Read: Rashmika Mandanna glows in a red Varun Bahl creation at India Couture Week Furthermore, Zelenska also revealed how she and her husband met at the high school in their native town, Kryvyi Rih, in southeast Ukraine, adding that they both started dating when they were at university.
