Jordan Peele’s next film gets October 2026 release date

All you Jordan Peele fans out there will have to wait a bit longer for his next film. The Oscar-winning filmmaker is working on his fourth movie but it has been set for a release on October 23, 2026. The film was previously slated to release on December 25, 2024.
Owing to the Hollywood strikes, his film got delayed massively and Universal had to pull it from its calendar. The director had to then make a new release calendar which he announced over social media.
What we know about Jordan Peele's fourth film
Apart from the release date, nothing is known about his film. The only information we have about the film is when Jordan Peele briefly discussed the it on the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast on January 1.
On the podcast, he said, “I do feel like my next project is clear to me, and I’m psyched that I have another film that, you know, could be my favourite movie if I make it right.”
Jordan Peele broke to the scene with his feature debut in 2017 with Get Out starring Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams. The film received widespread critical acclaim for its intelligent storytelling and racial appropriation. His next film was 2019 thriller Us with Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke.

He’s also worked on series like Amazon’s Hunters and HBO’s Lovecraft Country.
