The new year brings some cheer for ‘Bad Boys’ hit franchise lovers as both Will Smith and Martin Lawrence announce their return to the film. While you must already know this if you closely follow their social media accounts, what’s new is that American radio personality DJ Khaled will also join the bandwagon as a surprise element.
Titled ‘Bad Boys for Life’, the film will be a sequel to 1995 action-comedy film ‘Bad Boys’. The story of the upcoming film revolves around a modern, highly specialised police unit that collides with the old school ‘Bad Boys’ when a new threat emerges in Miami.
Khaled will join a series of newcomers including Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig and Charles Melton. Khaled will be playing an unknown role in the movie.

Joe Pantoliano will reprise his role as the duo's long-suffering boss Captain Howard. Filming started on January 14 while Smith shared a photo of the movie's script that confirmed its official title of ‘Bad Boys For Lif3’.
‘Bad Boys for Life’ is slated for release on January 17. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will helm the project taking over from Michael Bay who worked on the previous films.
