It was a super-lit night as Super Bowl 2024 halftime performance by Usher was probably the best we’d seen from him recently. Belting out hits one after another, Usher rocked the stage with his unbeatable charisma and chart-busting numbers, bringing the best of his career to the Super Bowl stage. Joining him on the stage was Alicia Keys who looked fiery in red as she matched his excitement and energy.

However, Alicia’s performance was clouded with negative comments as people found some issues in her rendition of the 2003 hit “If I Ain’t Got You”. Alicia opened her song with drama using her red cape that flowed along the stage for effect but it didn’t go as planned. As she opened the song on a high note, her voice croaked and there were cracks in the song before she picked herself up and sang like the star she is.

Gillian Anderson is here to impress. The stellar actress will next be seen transforming into BBC Newsnight’s Emily Maitlis as she uncovers The Duke of York’s alleged involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. After her interview with Prince Andrew in 2019, Maitlis became a huge star in the news circuit overnight. Gillian takes on the powerful role in the Netflix film Scoop after her last appearance as Doctor Jean Milburn on the OTT giant's hit show Sex Education that ended last year. She also played former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on season 4 of The Crown, a show based on the British royal family, which also aired its last season in 2023. Gillian will be seen alongside Rufus Sewell, Billie Piper, and Keely Hawes in the upcoming film. What is Scoop about?
