James Webb Space Telescope has taken the latest picture of the dense centre of our galaxy showing stunning and unprecedented details. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in its report published on Monday (Nov 20) said that the star-forming region, named Sagittarius C (Sgr C), is about 300 light-years from the Milky Way's central supermassive black hole, Sagittarius A*. Notably, Sagittarius A* is the supermassive black hole at the Galactic Center of the Milky Way.

As quoted by NASA, the observation team's principal investigator Samuel Crowe, who is an undergraduate student at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, said: "There's never been any infrared data on this region with the level of resolution and sensitivity we get with Webb, so we are seeing lots of features here for the first time."

Crowe further added that "Webb reveals an incredible amount of detail, allowing us to study star formation in this sort of environment in a way that wasn't possible previously".

Professor Jonathan Tan, who is one of Crowe's advisors at the University of Virginia, said: "The galactic center is the most extreme environment in our Milky Way galaxy, where current theories of star formation can be put to their most rigorous test."

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is developing at a fast pace and its implementation in our day-to-day life has become unprecedented, with the world talking about its pros and cons. A new report suggests how advancements in AI may help employees as it is said that it could see millions of people working a four-day week with the same pay in the next 10 years.

Autonomy, which is an independent research organisation, has revealed in its latest data that around 28 per cent of Britain's workforce (around 8.8 million employees) are set to work 32 hours a week full-time by 2033.

Four days a week is a global call to implement to reduce work time, which would help businesses, individuals, and governments as it is said that this set-up will attain a future where productivity is prioritised over working hours, and work-life balance can be improved without sacrificing business results.

Autonomy also conducted a similar study in the US, which said that 35 million in the US will be benefitted. Notably, Congressman Mark Takano has introduced a 32-hour workweek bill to the US Congress. As quoted by The Guardian, he said: "Fundamental changes are coming to our workforce due to AI and automation. It will take government action to ensure gains in efficiency are felt by all workers, regardless of industry or skill level."

The study said that this projection could be materialised by implementing large language models (LLMs) in workplaces. The LLM is a statistical language model, aimed at augmenting worker's roles and creating more free time.

The Autonomy data revealed that such a policy could also help to avoid mass unemployment and reduce widespread mental and physical illnesses.

Rescuers on Tuesday (Nov 21) released the first video of workers trapped inside the collapsed Silkyara tunnel in north Indian Uttarakhand. The workers have been trapped inside the tunnel for 10 days now.

The rescue authorities managed to capture images through an endoscopy camera, which came from New Delhi late on Monday evening. The camera was sent inside the tunnel through a six-inch pipe which was used to send food items a day earlier.

The rescue officials also spoke to some workers through Walkie Talkies or radio handsets.

The footage showed the workers wearing yellow and white helmets, receiving food items sent to them through the pipeline and talking to each other. The rescue officials were also seen asking the workers to come in front of the camera so that authorities would get a fair idea of the exact status of the labourers.

Also read: 'Himalayas are not Alps': Uttarkashi tunnel mishap is a reminder 'not to mess' with world's youngest mountains The footage showed the workers wearing yellow and white helmets, receiving food items sent to them through the pipeline and talking to each other. The rescue officials were also seen asking the workers to come in front of the camera so that authorities would get a fair idea of the exact status of the labourers. An official asked them: "Aap camera ke paas walkie talkie pe aake baat karein (it loosely translates to English as: Come in front of the camera and talk to us through Walkie Talkie)." The video from inside the cave emerged as a breakthrough for the rescue workers who are racing against time to save the labourers and also came as a big relief to the families of these workers.
