Meanwhile, Director General Medical Services (Army) Lieutenant General RS Grewal said: "Quarantine facilities have been set up in Jaisalmer, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Gorakhpur, Chennai, Surat, Jhansi, Jodhpur and other places with the help of Navy &amp; Air Force."

South Korea reported 84 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday with the country marking the third day in a row with fewer than 100 new infections.

The World Health Organization(WHO) had last week declared the virus a pandemic with more deaths and cases outside China.

The number of deaths worldwide has passed 7,000, with more than 181,500 cases in 145 countries.

The&nbsp;UNESCO World Heritage Site&nbsp;Taj Mahal has joined the list of attractions around the world that are closing their doors amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier, a 64-year-old man died in the Maharashtra which is the hardest-hit state in the country with more than 30 confirmed cases.

India has suspended issuing any new tourist visas and has imposed a two-week quarantine on all travellers, including returning Indian nationals, who are arriving from or have visited China, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, South Korea and Spain.

It has prohibited travel of passengers from Afghanistan, Philippines and Malaysia to the country till March 31 amid the coronavirus outbreak.

But Washington took a much tougher line in December after a US contractor was killed in a rocket attack, launching retaliatory airstrikes against Kataeb Hezbollah.

The faction's supporters then surrounded and briefly stormed the US embassy. Days later, Washington killed top Iranian general Qasem Soleimani and Hashed deputy chief Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in a drone strike on Baghdad.

Outraged,&nbsp;Iran&nbsp;launched cruise missiles at the largest Iraqi base hosting US troops and the Iraqi parliament voted to oust all foreign forces from the country.&nbsp;

The parliamentary vote has yet to be implemented by a government.&nbsp;

Reports said inmates from Tremembé and Mirandópolis escaped even as Brazil's military police reportedly caught some prisoners.

Sao Paulo state prison authority confirmed the incidents saying “acts of insubordination” had taken place at the jails ahead of the suspension of the day-release program.

There are 234 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country with 31 cases in Rio. The country, however, hasn't reported any deaths due to the virus.
