Meanwhile, Indian and Chinese officials began diplomatic talks a week after clashes at Galway Valley between troops of both sides led to the death of 20 Indian soldiers. It is the second diplomatic level talks this month after the first took place on June 5.

The meeting is being conducted through a video link with the Indian side led by &nbsp;Naveen Srivastava, joint secretary(East Asia) and Wu Jianghao, director-general in the Chinese ministry of foreign affairs.&nbsp;

As talks began, Indian Army chief&nbsp;MM Naravane met Indian troops at a forward base in eastern Ladakh to review the situation on the ground along the LAC.

The Army chief gave "commendation cards" to soldiers who had exhibited exceptional devotion to duty during his visit.

Coronavirus cases surge to over 188,900 in Pakistan; over 3,700 deaths

Credit rating agency Moody's has said India's economy will shrink 3.1 per cent this year.

The agency said that COVID-19 pandemic will push debt levels in the world's richest nations up by almost 20 percentage points on average this year.

"We estimate that on average in this group, government debt/GDP ratios will rise by around 19 percentage points, nearly twice as much as in 2009 during the great financial crisis," it stated.

"Compared with the GFC, the rise in debt burdens will be more immediate and pervasive, reflecting the acuteness and breadth of the shock posed by the coronavirus".

Moody's had singled out China as the only country in G20 to grow during the pandemic forecasting a 1 per cent growth with 7.1 in 2021.

However, it cautioned, saying: "Asian countries are particularly vulnerable to changes in geopolitical dynamics. The rise in tensions between China and countries bordering the South China Sea and clashes on the border with India suggest that geopolitical risks are rising for the entire region."

Meanwhile, President Trump said that US death toll which has surpassed 120,000 could reach 150,000 people, "It could go beyond that". In New York, 20,000 people have died due to the virus as it opened for business.

The residents were put under quarantine on Thursday after two people reported COVID-19 infection as region's state premier Armin Laschet said that he "cannot rule out a blanket lockdown".

China on Tuesday launched the final satellite in its homegrown geolocation system designed to rival the US GPS network, marking a major step in its race for market share in the lucrative sector.

Footage from state broadcaster CCTV of the launch in southwestern Sichuan province showed the rocket blast off against a backdrop of lush mountains as a small group of onlookers filmed on their phones.

The launch of the Beidou-3GEO3 satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center was originally scheduled for last Tuesday but was delayed over unspecified "technical issues," China's space agency said.

Completing the satellite network makes China a key player in the billion-dollar geolocation services market, observers said.

Beidou -- named after the Chinese term for the plough or "Big Dipper" constellation –- is intended to rival the US's Global Positioning System (GPS), Russia's GLONASS and the European Union's Galileo.

"I think the Beidou-3 system being operational is a big event," Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, told AFP.

"This is a big investment from China and makes China independent of US and European systems."

China started building its global navigation system in the early 1990s to help cars, fishing boats and military tankers navigate using mapping data from the country's own satellites.

Now the service can be used on millions of mobile phones to find nearby restaurants, petrol stations or cinemas, to guide taxis and missiles and fly unmanned drones.

The coverage provided by Beidou, which has been in commercial use since 2012, was first limited to the Asia-Pacific region, but worldwide service has been available since 2018.

The system works on a network of about 30 satellites.

Around 120 countries including Pakistan and Thailand are using Beidou's services for port traffic monitoring, to guide rescue operations during disasters and other services, according to Chinese state media.

Beijing is counting on its trillion-dollar Belt and Road global infrastructure project to convince other participating countries to use its technology as it attempts to grab market share from GPS -- although some experts have cast doubt on its ability to do so.

McDowell told AFP he did not think Beidou would be able to "supplant GPS in the next 10 or even 20 years".

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev launched the medicine at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar in Uttarakhand. Baba Ramdev said that the medicine has shown "100 per cent recovery rate within 3-7 days".

The medicine is reportedly made with a mixture of Tulsi, Giloy and Ashwagandha while launching it, Ramdev said,"The whole world has been waiting for someone to develop a medicine for coronavirus. Today, we are proud that we developed the first ayurvedic medicine for coronavirus. It has been named Coronil.”&nbsp;

The medicine has been jointly developed by Patanjali Research Institute and National Insitute of Medical Science at Jaipur.

Patanjali CEO Acharya Balkrishna had told ANI that "first the simulation was done and compounds identified which can fight the virus and stop its spread in the body".

"Then we conducted a clinical case study on hundreds of positive patients and we have got 100 per cent favourable results," he added.

The company had said earlier that it had conducted "randomised placebo-controlled clinical trials".
