In a complete reversal of the Seema Haider case, an Indian woman from the national capital New Delhi travelled to Pakistan's Dir Bala in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to meet her lover, Aaj News reported on Sunday.

Seema Haider, a Pakistani woman and a mother of four, had travelled to India illegally via Nepal to be with Sachin Meena, whom she met on a virtual gaming platform.

However, unlike Haider, the married Indian woman, who was identified as Anju, was granted entry into Pakistan by the authorities on the weight of a visa.

As per the report, Upper Dir SHO, Javed Khan said Anju entered Pakistan lawfully and with a valid visa.

According to the SHO, he further attested to Anju's four-year-long relationship with Nasr.

According to local media reports, the married woman arrived in Pakistan through the Wagah border and further travelled to Islamabad.

The report further added that though the woman had entered the country lawfully, the government authorities have opened an inquiry into the matter.

Further, as per the report, 35-year-old Anju and 29-year-old Nasrullah from Upper Dir, became friends on social media and soon their friendship turned into a love affair.

As per local media reports, married Anju decided to cross over to Pakistan and travel all the way to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in search of love.

According to Aaj News, the Upper Dir Police had confirmed that the Indian woman was currently in the Malakand Division district and a security team had begun an investigation.

As per her visa information, Anju was allowed a stay in Pakistan for 30 days.

<h2>Anju met Nasrullah on Facebook</h2>

Anju said that she met Nasrullah on Facebook four years ago and the two became friends, Aaj quoted her as saying.

She added that she loved Nasrullah and "could not live without" him.

Anju, who is a working woman in India, said that she was visiting Pakistan for sightseeing and that marriage was not on her mind, claimed Nasrullah's family members.

Earlier, reacting to the illegal cross-over of Seema Haider into India, the Ministry of External Affairs had said the matter was 'under investigation, adding that she was presented before the court and was granted bail.

“We are aware of the matter. She was presented before the court and is now out on bail," the official spokesperson of the MEA, Arindam Bagchi, said at a press briefing on July 20.

The flash floods prompted by torrential rains in central Afghanistan have claimed the lives of at least 30 people, a disaster ministry official released a statement as saying on Sunday.

Mohammad Shafi Rahimi, the ministry spokesman, said that at least 26 people had died in Jalrez district, which is situated 46 km (29 miles) east of Kabul, after heavy rain washed away their homes, as most of them were built of earth.

Four more people had lost their lives in Kabul due to the floods and a&nbsp;total of 70 were wounded in both districts, he said further, adding that at least 40 people were still missing.

Government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid released a statement saying that urgent aid was being given to the people in the main disaster zone in the Jalrez district of Maidan Wardak province.

Rahimi told a news conference that nearly 604 houses had been fully or partially damaged and hundreds of acres of agricultural land and orchards devastated in Jalrez since Friday.

Nationwide, "In&nbsp;the last four months, 214 people were killed in natural disaster-related incidents", Rahimi said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement after his surgery saying that he was "doing great".

On Sunday, the Israeli PM had undergone surgery to fit a pacemaker, hours before lawmakers are scheduled to debate over the controversial judicial reform bill which has been strongly protested by tens of thousands of protesters.

Netanyahu, in the afternoon, thanked his supporters and well-wishers for their concern and also the doctors at Sheba Medical Center for their care.

"As you can see, I am doing great," a seated Netanyahu said in a video released by his office.

"We're continuing our efforts to complete the legislation, and the efforts to do it in agreement (with the opposition)," he said, wearing a suit jacket open at the neck.&nbsp;

"Either way, I want you to know that tomorrow (Monday) morning I'm joining my friends at parliament," he said, with a spokesman for the hospital telling AFP the premier was still at Sheba.

Earlier in the day, following the surgery, Sheba said that Netanyahu's condition was "good," and that he remained in the cardiology department for observation.

Netanyahu's office made an announcement overnight that the 73-year-old would undergo a pacemaker implantation surgery days after he was hospitalised for dehydration.

Netanyahu too released a video announcing his surgery saying that he will be discharged in time by the hospital for a key vote on the judicial reforms.

“A week ago I was fitted with a monitoring device. That device beeped this evening and said I must receive a pacemaker and that I must do this already tonight,” said Netanyahu, in a video statement which was released late on Saturday (July 22) by his office. “I feel great, but I need to listen to my doctors,” he added.

In the video, 73-year-old Netanyahu was seen standing and smiling. He stated that the doctors have assured him that the hospital would discharge him “tomorrow afternoon”.

"The doctors tell me that I will be free and I will be released from the hospital tomorrow afternoon and will be able to go to the Knesset to vote," the prime minister stated.&nbsp;

In a video message recorded inside the hospital, Netanyahu addressed the Israeli public, explaining that his condition may have been caused by spending time in the sun without a hat and sufficient water. He expressed gratitude to the medical staff and the public for their concern and assured everyone that he was feeling well.

"Yesterday I spent some time at the Kinneret with my wife, in the sun, without a hat and without water. Not a good idea," Netanyahu said.

He urged Israelis to "spend less time in the sun" and "drink more water" in the wake of the country's hot weather.

The latest health scare for Netanyahu comes at a time when debate over reforms bill is due in the parliament, which will be followed by voting on Monday (July 24). The final voting will take place on the key "reasonability" clause through which government decisions can be struck down by the judges.

The government of Netanyahu plans to curb the powers of the Supreme Court under this clause, adding that the changes are important for ensuring a better balance of power.

A three-year-old kid, who fell into a 40-foot borewell on Sunday, was rescued by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team after five hours of extensive operation. As per the reports, the boy&nbsp;is in stable condition and has been taken to the hospital.

"The child is fine and has been rescued. He has been sent to the hospital. It took us around 5 hours to rescue him, Ranjeet Kumar," NDRF officer, Nalanda, Bihar told ANI.

The incident took place in Kul village situated in Bihar's Nalanda. As per news agency ANI, the officials said that the child has been identified as Shivam Kumar.

According to the details, a farmer had made the borewell but did not close it. Shivam, while playing with the kids, fell into the borewell. The rescue operation began when the other kids informed the three-year-old's parents.

Nalin Maurya, Vice President of Nagar Panchayat Nalanda, was assisting the rescue operation.

While speaking with news agency ANI, Maurya said, "This borewell was made by the farmer for boring. But boring didn't succeed here, so they started boring in another place and this borewell was not closed".

JCB machines were deployed on the spot where the incident took place in order to supply oxygen to the victim and help get him out of there.

According to the reports, Police Station In-charge Dinesh Kumar Singh said that many officials were informed and that the senior authorities in Parsottam reached the spot where the incident took place.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while laying emphasis on the country's climate 
commitments, said that India has demonstrated leadership in climate action and achieved its non-fossil installed electric capacity target nine years in advance.

On Saturday, in a video message to the G20 Energy Ministerial Meeting in Goa, the Prime Minister said that India plans to achieve 50 per cent non-fossil installed capacity by the year 2030.

“No talk about the future, sustainability or growth and development can be complete without energy. It impacts development at all levels, from individuals to nations,” the Prime Minister said at the meeting that brought together ministers from the countries in the G20 grouping.

He then underlined that India is among the top global leaders in solar as well as wind power and is making great efforts in green growth and energy transition.

“India is the most populated nation and the fastest-growing large economy in the world yet we are moving strongly on our climate commitments... We achieved our non-fossil, installed electric capacity target 9 years in advance. We have now set a higher target, we plan to achieve 50 per cent non-fossil installed capacity by 2030," PM Modi said.

He further highlighted that the entire world looks to the G20&nbsp;group to advance sustainable, just, affordable, inclusive, and clean energy transition and urged them to ensure that the Global South is not left behind.

“We must ensure low-cost finance for developing countries,” PM Modi said.

“We must find ways to bridge technology gaps, promote energy security, and work on diversifying supply chains. And, we must strengthen collaboration on the 'fuels for the future,'” he said.

Sonora state prosecutors said as per the preliminary findings, the assailant was a young man who was highly intoxicated at the time he attempted the arson.

As per a statement from prosecutors in the state that shares a long border with Arizona, after the suspect was thrown out of the bar for disrespecting women, he came back in to take revenge and spilt a Molotov cocktail at the doors of the bar.

The attacker was expelled from the bar "for treating women disrespectfully," and then returned and threw a flaming object into it, presumably a Molotov cocktail, the prosecutor's office said.

According to the statement, the attack claimed the lives of 11 people, out of which, seven were men and four were women. Four others who sustained wounds in the incident were being treated in the hospital.

The authorities are trying to identify the suspect, added the statement.

The city, located near Mexico City, is the capital of the State of Mexico, the country's most populous and one of its most dangerous due to crime.&nbsp;

Toluca mayor Raymundo Martinez told the Milenio newspaper that the fire was allegedly the result of disputes between vendors and owners of premises at the market, as per news agency AFP reports.

On Friday, the Kremlin released a statement saying that Ukraine's "unpredictable" actions pose a danger to civilian shipping in the Black Sea.

It further condemned Kyiv for carrying out "terrorist attacks" in the area.

Earlier this week, Russia said that this week all the ships that were heading to Ukraine's Black Sea ports could be considered military targets and that their flag countries parties to the conflict on the Ukrainian side, after it annulled their security guarantees by pulling back from the Black Sea grain deal.

"Unpredictable actions and, moreover, the involvement of the Kyiv regime in terrorist acts certainly potentially create a threat in this area," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

On being asked if ships carrying Russian oil and other goods from Russia's Black Sea ports were at risk, Peskov told reporters that government departments would take a decision.

"The situation is being analysed, and our responsible agencies will develop appropriate recommendations to minimise the danger," he said.

Indian Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday revealed the cause behind the horrific Odisha train accident saying that the lapses in the ‘signalling-circuit-alteration’ lead to wrong signals which caused the trains to collide in Balasore on June 2.

The Union Minister further said that the Commissioner of Railway Safety under the Ministry of Civil Aviation had completed its probe into the Balasore train accident, which killed at least 295 people.

“The rear-collision was due to the lapses in the signalling-circuit-alteration carried out at the North Signal Goomty (of the station) in the past, and during the execution of the signalling work related to replacement of Electric Lifting Barrier for level crossing gate no. 94 at the Station. These lapses resulted in wrong signalling to Train No. 12841 wherein the UP Home Signal indicated a Green aspect for run-through movement on the UP main line of the station, but the crossover connecting the UP main line to the UP loop line (crossover 17A/B) was set to the UP loop line; the wrong signalling resulted in the Train No.12841 traversing on the UP loop line, and eventual rear-collision with the Goods train (No. N/DDIP) standing there,” Vaishnaw told the Rajya Sabha.

The minister responded to the questions by Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader John Brittas and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh in Rajya Sabha on the tragedy.

He then said that the incident, which involved Chennai-bound Coromandel Express, the Howrah-bound Shalimar Express and a goods train, claimed the lives of at least 295 passengers, and severely injured 451, whereas 180 received First Aid Treatment.

“In the said accident 41 deceased persons have not yet been identified,” Vaishnaw told the Upper House.

He further added that the Departmental Inquiry Committee and the Commissioner of Railway Safety under the Ministry of Civil Aviation are the main agencies investigating the causes of different accidents.

“During the last 5 years (2018-2023), 201 accident cases were investigated by the Departmental Inquiry committee and 18 cases have been investigated by the Commission of Railway Safety,” the Union Minister said.

“As per the recommendations suggested by the different accident inquiry committees in their report, appropriate action has been taken by the Railway Administration,” Vaishnaw said.

The Union Minister further said that the Commissioner of Railway Safety under the Ministry of Civil Aviation had completed its probe into the Balasore train accident, which killed at least 295 people. “The rear-collision was due to the lapses in the signalling-circuit-alteration carried out at the North Signal Goomty (of the station) in the past, and during the execution of the signalling work related to replacement of Electric Lifting Barrier for level crossing gate no. 94 at the Station. These lapses resulted in wrong signalling to Train No. 12841 wherein the UP Home Signal indicated a Green aspect for run-through movement on the UP main line of the station, but the crossover connecting the UP main line to the UP loop line (crossover 17A/B) was set to the UP loop line; the wrong signalling resulted in the Train No.12841 traversing on the UP loop line, and eventual rear-collision with the Goods train (No. N/DDIP) standing there,” Vaishnaw told the Rajya Sabha. The minister responded to the questions by Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader John Brittas and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh in Rajya Sabha on the tragedy. Also read: India, Sri Lanka to boost bilateral ties through energy, power and port projects He then said that the incident, which involved Chennai-bound Coromandel Express, the Howrah-bound Shalimar Express and a goods train, claimed the lives of at least 295 passengers, and severely injured 451, whereas 180 received First Aid Treatment. “In the said accident 41 deceased persons have not yet been identified,” Vaishnaw told the Upper House. He further added that the Departmental Inquiry Committee and the Commissioner of Railway Safety under the Ministry of Civil Aviation are the main agencies investigating the causes of different accidents. “During the last 5 years (2018-2023), 201 accident cases were investigated by the Departmental Inquiry committee and 18 cases have been investigated by the Commission of Railway Safety,” the Union Minister said. “As per the recommendations suggested by the different accident inquiry committees in their report, appropriate action has been taken by the Railway Administration,” Vaishnaw said.
