The retired general cautioned that India does not have an overwhelming technological edge in any field, and it should remain prepared for it.&nbsp;
"India does not have an overwhelming technological edge in any field&mdash;missiles, drones or air/naval power&mdash;to carry out retributory surgical strikes with impunity. Pakistan has the capability to respond in a quid pro quo manner and we should be prepared for the same," he said.&nbsp;

Bhatt said that he was nearby that day to attend the funeral of his aunt, but when he heard of the terror attack and their call for locals to help, he ran and made his way to the spot.&nbsp;
Those who could sit were placed on ponies and moved to the hospital, he said.&nbsp;
"I was just one person whose video was taken and circulated. There were many people who were doing the same," Bhatt told Indian news media NDTV.&nbsp;
Notably, Pahalgam has no proper hospital and anyone injured has to be taken to the Anantnag district hospital 40 km away.

Bhatt said that the boy had blood over his face and body, and he took him without stopping to ask for his name.&nbsp;
"The boy's mother was being carried by a pony handler who was right behind me," he said. That man was not photographed, he said.&nbsp;
When asked if he was scared, he said, "We would not have been able to help if we were scared. We were a bit scared of course, but it was a matter of humanity. One is human first, religion comes later... They murdered humanity there that day".

Syed Adil Hussain Shah ferried tourists on his horse from the car parking to the Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam which is accessible only by foot.&nbsp;
He tried to protect the tourists which he brought to the spot. However, he was shot dead during his attempt to fight one of the terrorists.&nbsp;

However, this is not the first time that India has withheld the Pakistan government's account.&nbsp;
Earlier in March 2023, Twitter banned the Government of Pakistan's account in India, and also in July and October 2022.&nbsp;
The decision to withhold a Twitter account is usually made after taking into consideration applicable local laws, according to Twitter's Help Center.&nbsp;

Pakistan scared of India? Islamabad to carry out missile test amid India's strict actions over Pahalgam terror attack

Day after India announced strict measures against Pakistan after at least 27 people died in the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan on Thursday (April 24) announced reciprocatory diplomatic measures, calling India's halt of the Indus Treaty 'Act of War'.
Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) on Thursday, during which he called the Indian measures, "unilateral, unjust, politically motivated, extremely irresponsible and devoid of legal merit."
Pakistan further rejected the Indian announcement to hold the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance.

"Any attempt to stop or divert the flow of water belonging to Pakistan as per the Indus Waters Treaty, and the usurpation of the rights of lower riparian will be considered as an Act of War and responded with full force across the complete spectrum of National Power," Shehbaz Sharif said.&nbsp;

It further added that Pakistan shall "exercise the right to hold all bilateral agreements with India" including but not limited to Simla Agreement in abeyance. It also suspended all trade with India including to and from any third country through Pakistan.&nbsp;
It further warned to close the Wagah Border Post, with immediate effect. "All cross-border transit from India through this route shall be suspended, without exception."
It added, "Those who have crossed with valid endorsements may return through that route immediately but not later than 30 April 2025."

<h2>'All visas suspended'</h2>
Pakistan also suspended all visas under SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme (SVES) issued to Indian nationals and deemed them cancelled with immediate effect.&nbsp;
However, it gave an exception to Sikh religious pilgrims. Moreover, Indian nationals currently in Pakistan under SVES are instructed to exit within 48 hours, less Sikh pilgrims.&nbsp;
Pakistan also declared the Indian Defence, Naval, and Air Advisors in Islamabad "persona non grata".&nbsp;
"They are directed to leave Pakistan immediately but not later than 30 April 2025. These posts in the Indian High Commission are deemed annulled," the statement read. It further directed all support staff of these advisors to return to India.&nbsp;
