6 Benefits of Taking Cloves, Black Pepper And Honey Together

Cloves, black pepper, and honey all contain compounds with antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help neutralise harmful free radicals in the body, which contribute to various health issues, including chronic diseases.

Cloves and black pepper have anti-inflammatory properties that reduce inflammation in the body. Chronic inflammation is linked to several health conditions, so consuming these spices contributes to overall health.

Honey is known for its immune-boosting properties. Combining honey with cloves and black pepper provides additional immune system support due to their potential antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects.

Black pepper has been traditionally used to improve digestion. Cloves also aid in digestion and help alleviate indigestion. Honey, with its soothing properties, can complement these effects and potentially contribute to a healthy digestive system.

Cloves and black pepper are believed to have respiratory benefits. They may help alleviate symptoms of respiratory conditions and promote overall respiratory health. Honey’s soothing properties are also beneficial for the throat.

Some studies suggest that black pepper has a role in weight management by influencing metabolism and suppressing fat accumulation. While not a substitute for a balanced diet and regular exercise, incorporating these spices into your diet may contribute to overall wellness.

Apple cider vinegar has gained popularity over the last decade as it has several health benefits. It helps lose weight, lower blood sugar, and make skin soft and supple. However, there are several myths associated with the wonder drink.

According to research, people who don't exercise or eat healthy will not lose weight even if they drink apple cider vinegar regularly. Thus, it is not the only thing that can sustain weight loss.

Many people believe that apple cider vinegar does not have any side effects. However, it is highly acidic and can affect your tooth enamel.

Apple cider vinegar might help maintain blood sugar levels, but it is not a substitute for proper medicines.

Apple cider vinegar is not the one-stop solution for all your problems. Overconsumption of apple cider vinegar can disturb your body's pH level.

Although apple cider vinegar protects the kidney and restricts the production of lipid levels in the body, there is no scientific evidence that consuming it can lower bad cholesterol in your body.

The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar is not ideal for maintaining blood pressure. Thus, a spoonful of apple cider vinegar in the morning does not solve fluctuating blood pressure issues.

However, there are several myths associated with the wonder drink

Celebrating Ramayana's Wisdom With Devdutt's Suno Ramayana

As the world turns its gaze towards India for the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya today, let us take a moment to reflect on the teachings of the age-old tale of the Ramayana. Devdutt Pattanaik offers a fresh take on the timeless teachings and invaluable lessons of the cherished Indian epic in his Audible podcast, Suno Ramayana Devdutt Pattanaik ke Saath.

The purpose of life is not just to feed yourself, but it is also to feed others

Devdutt discusses how Lord Ram, following his return from the tirth yatra, found himself contemplating the purpose of life. Amidst this, he sought guidance from Yog Vashishth. It was then that he learned a profound truth - the purpose of life is not merely self-sustenance but also contributing to others.

Whoever gives a hundred percent commitment, is worthy of praise and appreciation

When reflecting on the construction Ram Setu bridge, he points out that many creatures and friends of nature, including a humble squirrel, joined forces to support the monumental task. Lord Ram's acknowledgment of every contribution, irrespective of size and strength, became a profound teaching.

When we search for God within us, it leads us to path of becoming dharmic

According to Devdutt, there is a divine presence within every being. In his podcast, via examples from Ramayan, he encouraages individuals to seek God within themselves and follow a righteous path.

All You Need To Know About Celebs' Favourite Bulletproof Coffee

Bulletproof coffee has become a popular trend among celebrities, touted for its potential health benefits and unique flavour profile. This unconventional coffee concoction involves blending coffee with high-quality fats to create a rich and creamy beverage.

Bulletproof coffee is not your average cup of coffee. It is a combination of high-quality coffee beans, butter, and MCT oil (medium-chain triglyceride oil) to create a rich and creamy beverage.

A key component of Bulletproof coffee is grass-fed butter, believed to be richer in omega-3 fatty acids and essential nutrients compared to regular butter. This ingredient adds a unique flavour and texture to the coffee.

Derived from coconut oil, MCT oil provides a quick source of energy. The inclusion of MCT oil in Bulletproof coffee is associated with potential benefits such as increased energy levels and improved cognitive function.

Making Bulletproof coffee involves brewing a cup of high-quality coffee and blending it with 1-2 tablespoons of grass-fed butter and MCT oil. The blending process creates a frothy and creamy texture, distinguishing it from traditional coffee.

Advocates of Bulletproof coffee claim various health benefits, including sustained energy throughout the day, enhanced mental clarity, and appetite control due to the satiating effects of healthy fats.

Many celebrities have openly embraced Bulletproof coffee as part of their daily routines. Notable names such as Ed Sheeran, Shilpa Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Halle Berry among others have spoken about incorporating this unique coffee blend into their lifestyles.

While some individuals swear by the benefits and flavour of Bulletproof coffee, it's essential to recognise that dietary preferences vary. Before making significant changes to your routine, especially in terms of dietary choices, consulting with a healthcare professional or nutritionist is advisable.
