Cities in South Korea are organising blind-dating events to promote marriage and family life among young adults. But why? South Korea has seen the world's lowest fertility rate for 3 straight years. Fertility rate refers to the number of children that a woman has during her reproductive years. And for South Korea, it was 0.78 in 2022.
