According to an alarming new report, ChatGPT uses 177,000 times more electricity than what is consumed by the average US household daily. Take this into perspective an average US household that uses around 29 KWatt hours daily. According to this new report, it's estimated that the popular chatbot consumes over half a million kilowatts hours of electricity to respond to around 200 million requests on an everyday basis.
