A major multistate Salmonella outbreak has sickened at least 345 people across 27 U.S. states, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The outbreak has been officially linked to imported jalapeño peppers grown in Sinaloa, Mexico, and distributed by Coast Citrus Distributors.
