The escalating US-Israel war with Iran is now disrupting global fertiliser trade as tensions in the Strait of Hormuz choke one of the world’s most critical shipping routes. Around one-third of global seaborne fertiliser trade passes through the narrow waterway, and disruptions are already pushing prices higher.
