US President Donald Trump has warned that the United States could “completely obliterate” Iran’s key oil export hub, Kharg Island, if a deal to end the conflict is not reached soon. The threat is part of a broader ultimatum that includes possible strikes on Iran’s oil facilities, power plants and other critical infrastructure.
Kharg Island is a crucial node in Iran’s energy network, handling a significant share of the country’s crude exports.
Trump said negotiations are ongoing but warned of severe military escalation if talks fail, as tensions continue to rise across the region.
